  For 15 years I have been with this credit union and also had my children's accounts here. I would not recommend them for any reason. I stayed with them because of me working with the city of aurora. Hoping that things would get better. Recently trying to get some things cleared up was and still has been a nightmare. For months a fraud has been on my sons account, we never look at it because it is basically a savings account. So $15 a month has been taken out. Speaking to one of the associates was even worse. We only get 90 days of fraud pay back. My son is 15 years old and knows nothing of his debit card never really used it so he never used it for anything to get a fraud. When the email was sent for him he knew nothing of the answers and the other email was old, asking to have another one sent it has yet to be sent again. I have had transfers for years from my account to my children's account as well. All of a sudden with the new website they were gone, the associate frustrated me so bad I hung up on her. Apologized later however after numerous times of her saying are your sure, is is internal or external. Me saying I know my money and what it does. My sons account is out a lot of money to him and it is sad that they get to pick and choose the outcome with no compassion or empathy for anything really. We will be closing our accounts and never looking back with this company again.

  Been part of their family for over 20 years and really have had some great responses; savings bond cashing, estate finances, bill pay, and best of all, they have consistently handled errors and such with alacrity. Just fixed up a fraudulent charge on the 'Net in less than 2 weeks. I took off one star for the safe deposit box access issues. Still, good folks and a deal when your money's safety and accessibility are considered a priority.

  My son went into Aurora Federal credit Union today to withdraw money out his account. And they ask him for his password even though he provided his ID and his account number. I have never in my life had someone asked for a password you do not need that to withdraw money. We used them as a branch for our credit union and have never had any other Branch ask for a password until today we probably left and took our business elsewhere, I don't think we'll be back.

  We’ve been with AFCU for about 19 years, and like everything else, we’ve had some bad experiences ( no business is perfect) but nothing that would make us want to leave. We would recommend this credit union over and over again! Thank you Aurora Federal for your great customer service!

  I have been a member for 30 years and I do like all the services they offer. I feel confident with their banking management. They are very friendly and helpful. Most of my banking is done online including check deposits. Their bill paying service is very easy to use also.

  I would not recommend banking with this credit union. They are WAY behind the times with banking online. They spent all this money on a new location and a brand new building but they couldn't spend any money to upgrade their website or give more options for bill pay. Once my loan is paid off with them, I will no longer be wasting my time with them. I am banking at another federal credit union simultaneously and there's no contest. Save yourself some time and headache. The one thing that I do have to say on the positive side is the reception staff are always very friendly and helpful, but that doesn't make up for their short-comings.

  I love my credit union. Been with then over ten years and they are wonderful. Dorine and Brandy as well as the receptionist, are exceptional people to work with. They are always smiling and ready do what ever is needed to attending to your needs. Keep up the good work ladies.

  Went to an in network credit union to withdrawal a sizable sum. They told us we had to go to our home union to get an amount that large. We tried calling ahead before driving across town, as we now live in Lakewood, but there's no way to get through over the phone on a Saturday morning. So, we drive 40 minutes to get over here just so they could tell us that we can't withdrawal our own money. Would have been nice to have saved 40 minutes (each way) by CALLING AHEAD. Will be looking for a national bank to take my money to.
