  Not a good choice! They are fee- happy here! I had fees added on to my account for using my check card at a non- associated atm. I can understand charging a fee, but 10.00?!?!?! Also I have had my account compromised here more than once- it was a huge hassle to get my money back, when it was crystal clear that the charges on my account were fraudulent. The personal banker that was assigned to help me get the money back, left me waiting in the lobby for 45minutes while he sat & read the newspaper. Then refused to put any of my over the limit fees back on, since in his opinion "You would get fees since you are over-drawn" even from fraud use of my check card??? I also had a bad experience with the mortgage department. The personal banker kept telling me it would be "a few more days" until I could close on my refinance. This went on for 6 months! I finally called her manager & was told the loan had been approved 3 months prior. All while I'm paying the higher rate. UNBELIEVABLE! Really, save yourself a ton of time & hassle & go to a credit union. They are not fee happy & usually are more than willing to work with you on any & all issues. Associated bank should have paid me for all the time I have wasted with them sitting on their customer service line, and dealing with issues.

  Horrible customer service. Not willing to help out at All. Had an account there till I had my direct deposit put into my account and even with several types of ID they wouldn't let me take my own money out of my account forcing my rent to be late till they figured out the problem which ended up being on their end anyways and showed no empathy that they caused 1, my rent to be late and I've always been on time and 2, having to pay a late fee because of them. I've had nothing but bad encounters with this bank more than a few times and at different locations so it's the bank as a whole that does not have customer needs in mind. I would suggest chase, they are Terrific bank, always helpful and have tons of incentives and Rewards to show their customers are first, always have fresh treats and wonderful coffee in the lobby with the friendliest staff

  My wife and I needed help with a trust and the investment staff solved some huge problems, calling other experts in to get it right. What a relief! We opened up a checking account and everybody we encountered were helpful! Im happy to be a part of the Associated family!

  Associated charged me so many service fees that I owed on my checking account. After complaining they offered to refund the service fees and close the account but would not refund the money in my account. Closed my account and plan on never banking through this institution again.

  Stop #3 on the Packers Heritage Trail, Birthplace of the Packers, - Plaque #3 is facing 315 Cherry Street where the team was formed in the old Green Bay Press Gazette building on Aug 11, 1919 (plaque is on the SE corner of the building)

  Terrible bank practices, please run away and find another bank.

  They will nickle and dime you where ever and whenever they can. Go with a credit union.
