  I’ve been a member of this credit union for about 20 years, and have appreciated their services, lack of mystery fees and convenient locations. However, in the last few years it has become increasingly difficult to get a call through to an actual human being who could help me with any question. I either end up on terminal hold or (my personal favorite) after waiting on hold for an extended period the call just goes dead. Their automated phone system asks for your number so they can call you back when a representative becomes available, but several times, they never have called back. It’s faster, though not less annoying, to drive to a branch, wasting my expensive gas, to ask the question. I understand understaffing is an issue, and have cut them slack on this review, but with so many credit unions now available for me to choose from, this needs to be dealt with before there is a mass exodus.

  This place has gone from an efficient credit union to a TYPICAL BIG BANK. I’ve been with this company since 1980 when it was School Employee Credit Union. Over the last ten years it has done nothing but get bigger, inefficient and impossible to work with. I’ll be closing my account SOON!

  This was my first bank, I moved away but decided to keep them. When ever I call for help I keep getting hung up on without hearing from anyone. My card has been deactivated and I ordered one 3 weeks ago...just trying to find out what happened to my card. This place is just becoming a hassle.

  I have been with ECCU then Arbor since I was a kid. I have always enjoyed this credit union and have never had any issues. Everyone is always friendly and I would recommend Arbor FCU to anyone!

  Really needed online help. Sarah was great... patient, and kind... made me glad I'm with Arbor.

  They don’t even open until 9am. Those who work night shift and need to run to the bank when they get out of work have to wait until 9. Big inconvenience for night shift workers.

Most banking can be done without visiting a branch but for those moments you need to stop in we understand the frustration of normal business hours. - You can always schedule an appointment on our website, log in to online banking, or call us from 8am-7pm M-F or 9am-1pm on Sat at 269-375-6702. Same hours available by text at 616-333-4097, our Loan line is available 24/7 at 269-488-5945 and our Card Services after hours line is 800-325-3678. We hope this helps!
