Julia Sawtelle1I’ve had this bank for a long time now, ever since it’s been Atlantic its been horrible. They constantly lock my account on me which makes me go into the negative and now it’s my responsibility to pay all that money back. I’m glad I switched to a different bank and can’t wait to cancel my account here. I wouldn’t even recommend this bank to a dog.

Natasha Kinney3Love the tellers in Sanford always a pleasant place to be, however loan's are tough here compared to other places and honestly every other place is back open on Saturday, why are you guys dragging your feet to help other customers and reopen on Saturday? Not everyone can get there on a weekday.... ridiculous. I miss the YCFCU, going over to Atlantic has been discouraging to say the least. Local branch staff is the best and they are not to blame.

Our Member Contact Center and Video Banking are open on Saturday's from 9 - noon, but we'll have our Branch Manager, Tracy, give you a call to see about the loan and how we can further help. James Stevens1I’ve had this bank for 15+years I’ve never had a issue till they merged for some reason this is the only bank I know of that allows any aromatic that you may have or withdrawal to go through whether you have the funds available or not 30$ every time and when I asked the bank why they’re allowing my payment to go through when the funds are not available they remove me from their overdraft protection and tell me there’s gonna be a cancellation fee of $30 every time now so what’s the difference why don’t you just not allow payments to go through and have it decline rethinking banks
Response from the ownerHi James – when you say “whether the funds are available or not,” the challenge is “or not.” We recommend setting up alerts to notify you if your balance is low and help you avoid any fees. There are excellent alert tools in Atlantic’s Digital Banking. If needed, we would be glad to help.

TIMOTHY GOULET2If i could give no stars i would. I have used mobile deposit alot. All of a sudden the check was returned to this credit union ( with no explanation and not for insufficient funds) They charge me fee's and can not explain the reason why. They said they would call me back in an hour. Nothing...crickets. This credit union is the worst. They do not care about you. You are just a number.... Chris, I have been trying to call you. I called the local branch AGAIN and they still won't help and are telling me sorry so sad. NO HELP AND NO ONE CARES AT ALL! Update....still holding my breath. Finally April came thRough. Got the fee back. Wow my mind is tired. There has to be an easier way.

Ultra_ violet2The people are nice, the 24 hour loan service? Not so much. It’s took around 4 days for them to get back and tel me it was declined because I don’t work enough hours, (15 hours per week more coming in). Which me and my mom figure out, is Very wrong especially with a co- signer. I work at 11.50 an hour. Do not use the 24 hour loan service if you need quick a reliable services.

David Osisek1Worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve lived across the USA and once they became Atlantic I feel the service and local bank feel just diminished. The employees are generally nice, though.

KD1Kaitlyn (Caitlyn) was very rude! I work in customer service. If I treated my customers like that I would at least get a write up. She never once smiled and had a very negative attitude!

Shane O'Hara5I was never a credit union member until banking institutions started raising their rates to continue making money. That started my credit union search...and how I found YCFCU in Sanford. They have two convenient branches in-town Sanford and South Sanford, as well as York and Biddeford. All are new construction within the last few years. The staff is BEYOND friendly, knowledgeable and consistently available. I will NEVER go back to a bank and will always recommend YCFCU. The only downfall I have is their minimal online banking site. The details aren't too great and there's no way to make online deposits (as of June 2012!!).

Rich Earle5Awesome ocean views with lots of picnic spots with grills. They have clean bathrooms. Great spot for a wedding or family gathering.
