  This is the most frustrating place to deal with if you ever need anything. Long wait times on the phone just to be told they can’t help you after giving them all your information and verifying your identity. I only needed help with resetting my password and they could not assist. Incredibly ignorant.

  Helped me with my refinance of my home mortgage and made the process nearly hassle-free! I got the best interest rate through them too! I started out just opening an account with them due to a promotion when they first opened the Cookeville location and planned to close my account once I got the promo money. But now, I’m a full-time customer! Thanks for treating me right, Ascend!

  I used to like Ascend but this weekend (my birthday!) changed my opinion drastically for the worse. Ascend is doing computer system upgrades which is fine It usually means no app or internet access but never complete lock out of your account and money!. I've dealt with this at many other banks over the years. 7However these "upgrades" never locked me out of my account where I couldn't use an ATM or make a purchase! People depend on their debit cards like they are cash! Because if this I was unable to get a rental car and hotel room or even eat with MY MONEY! No other bank has done anything like this to me! I believe it's time to change. banks!

  India is the best bank representative in America. Called her up and not only help with every need but hate better rates than ever had before. Made the process easy. I will be a customer for life. Thankyou India!

  Just moved here. Went to Cookeville office to open a checking account. I already belong to other credit unions. They ran a hard credit enquiry without written or verbal permission. That's a violation of ethics and practices, not to mention possible legal ramifications. All staff could do is offer up excuses, because they were confused, as the manager said. Very unprofessional at best.Got a call from Jonathan Little ( corporate). He will be visiting that office . Still looking for a credit union locally.

  The staff there always go above and beyond to help me. I’m disabled and have trouble walking, or standing at the counter and waiting, so I have a seat in the lobby and they bring the necessary paperwork to me. That way, I don’t have to risk falling. I’ll never do my checking and savings accounts anywhere else.

  If your looking for a awesome bank I recommend Ascend 100%. I also recommend speaking with India, she is amazing and will shoot you straight with everything.
