Too long of a wait at the drive-thru during rush hour. They should staff appropriately for peak hours. Staffing issues?

Closed my account after zero balance in less than the standard 90 days. I had that account for years. Then they wouldn't print me a debit card immediately for a new account even after I called their corporate office. Oh yes. They can print them and should offer that as an option to all their customers. Now I have to wait 7-10 business days for the card. So, I just deposited the minimum balance of 50$. The account will be used when useful to me. That's how this works. They claim you have to have an established relationship in order to get a card printed. They claim it's for fraud protection, but I feel it's just a power trip thing they do bc they don't realize their place. They'll take my money and make 10x off of it while I sit here with basically nothing. That's what this is really about. Money. Making as much money off me as possible during that 7-10 days when they have access to my capital. The only reason I'm banking with them is that they have so many branches and atms. That's it because their service is poor and their APY is almost non existent. Their hours are constantly getting worse and they close every chance they get at the mention of a holiday. I'll find a better credit union soon, but I'll be sticking with this WalMart monopoly for a few weeks because I need a debit card.

The only reason I give this Arvest branch three stars is because of one very helpful blonde lady. Rude staff. I've been an Arvest customer for over 25 years and haven't witnessed this behavior elsewhere.

We went through the Drive-thru and the process went fairly quickly. There was a Car in front of us (in the lane for Trucks/Vans), so we had to wait 8-10 minutes. After the previous Customer completed their business, we were able to speak with the Banker and it took Less than 5 minutes to complete our transaction. The male Teller was Friendly, Professional and Courteous......Thanks Arvest!👍🏾

      Response from the owner

Apparently, Arvest has forgotten that customers matter. The last couple of times that I've called I had to hold for 15-20+ minutes. The first time I just hung up and quit holding. AND when I joined I thought it was great that they WERE open until 8pm. Since I have a business account there, it seemed perfect that I could meet with a customer after 5pm and still be able to deposit a check. Now, they close at 5pm, if you're going to switch things up it seems like you would switch things in the customers favor. But obviously if customer have to hold for 15+ minutes - you have to realize you've pushed back your hours too much. On the plus side, it's easy to leave Arvest since there is ZERO advantage to banking at Arvest. I can easily move my mortgage (time to refinance anyways), my personal account and business accounts to a credit union. I've been with Arvest for a long time and you'd think it would be difficult to leave them - but nope, not at all. I'm tired of holding forever for these people.

I went to this location this morning and I tell the teller I need a new debit card. He tells me to go sit down and someone will help me with that. No one else is at the counter and the tellers are chit chatting with each other standing around. I went to some guy in one of the cubicle rooms not with any clients and he said he couldn’t help me and i asked him about the tellers helping me and he said he wasn’t sure if they could help me. Finally after ten minutes of sitting around I left. I believe Arvest is a good bank but today was very disappointing. I finally was able to order through calling the Arvest number but not before they tried telling me to go back to the bank. I told them of my prior experience and they helped me out.

Consistently slow and unfriendly staff. The whole bank comes off grumpy which is a sign of poor management. **** is the most unknowledgeable banker I have eve met. I recommend closing and attending banking and customer service courses.

I’ve been a customer of arvest previously. I used to get my loans through them, but I do not currently have an account. I went there yesterday to get a title notarized, but they refused to do it because I was a nonmember. My bank will do it for me it for free if I am a member and they only charge five dollars if you’re not a member. I had someone drive into town after work two hours away to purchase my truck, and Arvest was open until 6, my bank closed at 5. They had the ability to help me, but they rudely refused. In my opinion, that is terrible customer service and it made me never want to open an account with them again. I hope this policy changes and they treat potential customers better in the future

      Response from the owner

Hi Justin, we appreciate your feedback regarding our notary services and understand your frustration. We will make sure to share your review with our team. Thank you.

Went to another Branch this time and didn't have nearly the problems I had at the branch off of 91st and Elm. This one was on on the corner of Aspen and Kenosha. No problems whatsoever and was able to make my transaction as usual.

      Response from the owner

Hi Robert, we are happy to hear that you were able to make your transaction! Thank you for the feedback, we will share this with the team!

Terrible customer service. Tellers don't listen. I sat in line at drive through and spoke to 3 different tellers and still left unhappy and problem not resolved. Sent here to get updated card after a name change. Home bank advised nothing would change except security code and expiration date. 1st teller advised of the exact same thing, I even offered her my full existing card number, she said I just needed to confirm the last 4. 2nd teller appears and new card comes out and I before leaving I notice that my name is appearing incorrectly so I send it back for correction. 3rd teller appears and tells me I have to pay to correct it and I should've specified how the name should appear...I explain that I was told and I confirmed that the new card would be like the old card except for the security code and expiration. I am frustrated but I accept it. Another new card comes out, I check it for errors. I immediately noticed that they've issued me a whole new card with new acct number. I am livid. 3rd teller says what's done is done and it can't be fixed...he even shows me where the the card that I sent back had also been changed by the first teller (i failed to realize it since I was focused on my name). That's it, nothing else attempted, says he can't do anything about it, offers no resolution. I ended up having to drive away, call back and speak to the bank manager and come back through the drive through to get it fixed, but I got it fixed because i'm persistent, not because this place has good customer service. Aneet was amazing, the only silver lining to this visit.
