  This bank is terrible. I signed up for an account online. Deposited the $ needed to start up. Soon after I realized this was not the correct bank. I immediately sent an email explaining what had happened. I would have kept the account except I had no access as they are on the military base. I could not get in touch with a human as I work the same hours . I tried several times . I wrote a total of 3 le ngthy emails with no response. Finally, today I was at to speak to a person. At this point they have drained the account due to their fees * (which I was trying to avoid). The account was -$9. I explained my issue and the rep was kind enough to refund that $9 to bring the acct to a $0 and close it as requested . That being said, after all the hassle of emails and calls from day 1, I cannot believe they wouldn't refund my initial deposit as well. They could see I had not used this account once! Yeah my mistake opening at the wrong bank butthis definitely shoes the integrity of AFB! I hope our service men and women are treated better than I was! You'd be a fool to bank here!!

  Aweful bank, has gotten progressively worse over the last 20 years. Limited hours keep getting more limited every year, closing branches, terrible customer service (especially their telebank services). It's like they just gave up.... This is why I am changing banks after 20+ years

  Great customer service but needs to open on a Saturday for the soldiers and civilians that work on the base!

  Be careful with this bank. Do not sign up for savings and cents it's a way for them to take your money. This is how it works: they say they round yo to the nearest dollar and transfer the cents to your savings account. They also transfer $100 when it will send your account into negative. So if you're like me and keep e writhing in savings they will transfer $100 to bring your account negative, do it on a Friday so when you wake up saturday and notice it you can't transfer the money back until mondayn and then charge you $25 overdraft. Screw the troops I guess.

  There bill pay system is broke it don't pay any bills...they just take your money
