Sherrill Waddell5Can't say enough good things about Vicki and her staff. My husband and I just purchased a home that presented a challenge from a financing and timing view. We had some unique challenges in that the home was in foreclosure and needed work before a mortgage could be obtained. Vicki worked with us to provide advice and assistance in working with the foreclosure bank to correct the issues before financing. When it came time to set up the mortgage, they were ready with all necessary steps done. We were able to close this loan within 3 weeks. We could not be happier with the service and assistance from Vicki and her staff and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs mortgage assistance. SCW

From our first conversation she explained each and every option that was available to me and I never felt pressured into any decision. They provided me with great information on everything I needed to know. My phone calls were handled in a professional and timely manner, with every questioned answered to thoroughly. All in all I really couldn't imagine my home buying process being any easier. Even now that the deal is done I would still feel 100% comfortable calling with any questions.

Recommend Anchor Mortgage and Reba to everyone who is looking to purchase a home or refinancing. Reba enjoys her job, her enjoyment comes from seeing a family getting a new home. If all customer service was as good as anchor mortgage customer service the world would be a much happier place. I've never had a problem with anchor mortgage. Amanda Goncalves5My husband and I cannot say enough positive things about Anchor Mortgage & Services and specifically about the interactions and service by Vicki and Grace! All hell broke lose in the last 24hrs before closing when my big name bank was unwilling to help us wire the down payment to the title agent or to even care about its effects on our situation. Vicki & Grace stuck with us and worked with us for 5 hours to find a solution that would allow us to close on time. For a geographically-separated dual-military family who still had 8.5 hrs of driving to get to the closing - this was huge in keeping our sanity! Too many people and companies in banking, whether it’s mortgage, investment, personal, or business, forget that banking is a service industry. Vicki and Grace have reminded us that service still exists, and we appreciated it. We absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking to by a home in the Montgomery area!

Zachary Eason3Reba and Wendy have a great attitude and worked with my schedule to ensure I closed quickly. I really appreciate their energy. Everything was a great experience up to closing. After closing I was inundated with junk mail urging me to refinance. Every day for 6 months I had piles of junk mail for mortgages even though I asked them not to sale my contact info. Also, my loan ended up at Trustmark National Bank. This bank is a scam. They charge you a $6 fee every month to pay online unless you have a trustmark bank account that your paycheck is direct deposited to. That is a $72 per year extortion fee for not giving them all of your money. So now the only check I write and stamp I use each month is for my mortgage. I understand that it isn't anchor's policy to charge $6 per payment but if I associated with crooks I would expect to be avoided by people that dont want to get ripped off.

Drew Holloman1No call or nothing. I originally called to learn what I needed to do to begin the process of being pre-qualified. I received a call back, then, to be informed by Reba about the initial steps. I was pretty excited. Once I got the necessary paperwork and scanned it and completed the application, I sent it back to Reba. Even paid the $40.00 fee for them to run credit. Never received a call back to say why or why not, yet my account was charged for the fee. I feel ripped off honestly. Especially after being pre-qualified at another place, and just trying to be smart and shop for the best rates. Had to take our business elsewhere.
