  Working with Dante on a refi was incredible. He made what might have been a painful and difficult process seamless, and I had 100% trust that everything was going to be fine, despite some serious challenges that we presented him with. He was always incredibly responsive and patient with our many questions. I can't recommend him and Anchor Mortgage enough.

  Dante and his team did an amazing job getting my home purchase to close after another lender screwed up the file and almost cost me my deposit. He answered my questions and concerns and was always a call away during the entire process. Wish I would have gone to Anchor Mortgage first - next time for sure. Great job!

  Andrea was fantastic to work with. My clients are mostly from overseas, at the beginning they are completely unfamiliar with the mortgage process and requirements in the States. Andrea's friendly demeanor and patience always put them at ease. Her professionalism and extensive knowledge produce the result, she always find the perfect solution and product based on my clients' unique need.   As a first time home buyer I had no idea how complicated it is to buy a house. Dante and Andrea helped me during every step by communicating and explaining everything that was needed from me. I always felt comfortable with what was going on during the process and we closed earlier than expected. Highly recommend both Anchor and his wife as a realtor.

  When we first started working with Dante and Andrea, I was impressed by Andrea’s enthusiasm and Dante’s willingness to accompany her to all the home showings—they seemed to work very well together as a team. We didn’t run into any problems until time to schedule the closing. Given we were having to come in from out of town, were trying to close around the holidays and were working around a very tight travel schedule for work throughout the month of December, we had to fight the builder (seller) tooth and nail, over and over again for the date we needed for closing. After great lengths and after having to move the date several times (to which Dante and Andrea were both well informed throughout our entire struggle), we were finally able to lock in to close on Thursday December 7th, since we had to leave for a company event out of town first thing Friday December 8th. Dante and Andrea were scheduled to be out of town in Aruba during our closing (which was fine, we didn’t mind proceeding without them). On Monday December 3rd, the week of closing, we were still getting questions from Maggie (the loan processor at Anchor Mortgage, who Dante left in charge of our loan) and my company didn’t get a call for my employment verification until Monday, the week we were supposed to be closing. On Monday evening, Maggie informed us that the earliest we were going to be able to close was Friday December 8th because legally, they needed three days from when they issued our CD to when we could close and they hadn’t yet issued us our CD. Immediately, we called Dante in Aruba because (as he and Andrea both knew) we had a prior commitment that Friday and had already shifted our closing date several times to accommodate work and holiday travel. Even though Dante was well aware of our scheduled closing date and the hurdles we had overcome to get that date locked in, he failed to complete all of the necessary paperwork verification and provide the CD with ample time to close. Because of Anchor Mortgage’s incompetency and inability to follow through on what they said they were going to do, we ended up having to miss part of my company’s work event and had to pay $700 for last minute one-way flights from Charleston to Nashville in order to make it to the event. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Anchor Mortgage to anyone because of their inability to have our loan done by our scheduled closing date (their one job).

  John Mahoney and Leah Mahoney you were closed 12 hours after your requested close date and time. Unfortunately it was very difficult to communicate with either one of you because of your aggression towards our staff and the builder. The listing agent was 11 months pregnant and called me in tears because of the way you and your husband cursed her and degraded her on the phone. She refused to work with you just like our loan processor refused to work with you after you did the same to her. I understand you were upset about closing 12 hours later but we did everything we could to close you on your aggressive date of the 7th. You did not mention in your review that you and your husband were demanding and trying to extort money out of the company under the table because of the 12 hour delay. This was highly illegal and unethical and we have record of it all and have filed your illegal financial demands in our records for auditing purposes. No one deserves to be treated the way you both treated our staff, the listing agent especially because she was pregnant, and even the attorneys closing assistant.   I have been in real estate 14 years, I am ranked in the Top 5% of Realtors in Charleston, South Carolina and I am disgusted with the actions of Anchor Mortgage, Dante Campanelli & Andrea Campanelli. Any lender that bullies a buyer, let alone a first-time homebuyer, to apply with them and ONLY then will they quote them rates & programs should be banned. In fact, even after my client applied with Anchor Mortgage they went a whole week without giving him A SINGLE QUOTE and every time you were scheduled to talk on the phone you kept coming up with excuses and pushing off the call again and again. My client was tortured for an entire week by Dante & Anchor Mortgage and thankfully he found a reputable lender that saved him from your smoke and mirrors.

  Ethics in Real estate and Lending is a serious crime. RESPA violation are regulated by the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs. Your "unethical" actions along with Prime Lending will be investigated thoroughly and they will determine outcome of this transaction along with any penalties and sanctions that may occur. Prime Lending is also being reported up to CFPB for the same. Shame on you for violating RESPA

  I was referred to Anchor Mortgage by my realtor and I am glad I used them. I had some issues on my credit that I thought were going to prevent me from buying but my loan officer at Anchor helped me clear them up and get pre-approved. It was fast and easy plus I learned so much about my credit throughout the process. I highly recommend them to anyone buying a house.
