      I called to see if I could have a document printed and faxed and was told they will it print forms however I go to the Amscott on Busch Blvd and they do it all the time for me. When I asked for a manager to explain why they don’t offer the same service as other Amscott and was told they just don’t care. I would rate this place a zero star if I could please go next door to ACE they have better service. This place had 2.9 stars for a reason stay away!!

      I'm pretty sure if I was a white guy in a suit I wouldn't be given the 3rd degree whenever I try and cash a check.

      AMSCOT ARE RIP OFF, NASTY, CHARGING DISABLE INDIVIDUALS EXTRA MONEY $40 TO GO THOUGH HIS BANK ACCOUNT INSTEAD OF GIVING HIS THE EXTENDED AMOUNT OF TIME HE ASK,BECAUSE THEY HAVE IN THE THE PASSED... TO A PERSON ON DISABILITY THAT COULD BE QUITE A BIT OF MONEY I DON'T LIKE THIS AMSCOT PERIOD....!!VERY UPSETTING...

      I've had multiple issues with staff, but, it was never bad enough as it was today to bother complaining. My grandmother passed and, left some money to me in her will. I brought in a check given to me by my uncle. For some reason they had a problem with us sharing the same last name. He is my paternal uncle. The staff openly mocked me and made me nearly yell the reason for the check 3 times saying they couldnt hear me and questioned me repeatedly about the nature of my relation to my uncle and dead grandmother. After a 30 minute ordeal they took over 100$ just to cash the check and, while I stood there in tears they just talked about me in front of me and in front of all the other patrons. I asked if personal checks were usually subject to such a high percentage and the woman yelled at me that yes, they do get 9.9% for any personal checks. Even when they berate you for having a death in your family. If you want to be treated like a human being, don't go here.

      I’m giving this place one star for the sake of being able to post a review. I went in today to pick up a western union and the customer service was awful. When I walked about to the counter the worker asked me, “what do you want?” Really? Was that the right way to ask what I was there for? The woman who then attended me (Regis) hardly made eye contact and wouldn’t even speak to me. Tossed the pen and paper for the tracking number. Walked away for a while, then returned with my money and receipt. Tossed it underneath and that was that. Not even a “have a nice day.” I understand people have a bad day but you can’t take it out on every customer. And if customer service isn’t your thing, find a job elsewhere.

      They at least have a system of keeping the lines moving that works well. All locations practice this though. That's all they have in common. This location I absolutely can't stand going to. Always a hard time and extra time. If you plan to cash a large check like insurance and it's over $1,000 be prepared for them to verify and re-verify so basically be prepared to wait a while. I also left behind my ID and when I sent my son and boyfriend back to the store to get it they would not release it. Even after I called them and the clerk that assisted me recognized who i was, they still are making me have to be without my licence until I make it back there.

      Manager at the location is very provocative towards women. I felt very uncomfortable about he way he kept commenting and looking at me. I elected to be helped by one of the young ladies. But otherwise, smooth transaction.

      Extremely rude black lady shouted through the window "Come to the window!" I wasn't greeted or told thank you or you're welcome during my visit. I don't know who crapped on her pancakes that morning.

      The notary at this Amscot location signed in the wrong place on a document I needed for employment. Now I have to go back to my prospective employer to get a new document to get it notarized correctly. I would not return to Amscot for notary needs.
