  The Amherst Federal Credit Union staff is very friendly and personable. Its nice to actually talk to someone when you call. Rates for loans always seem to be some of the best around.

  Been a member for awhile. Tried only twice in the last few years and once again recently(twice altogether). Denied! Not to mention, the payments would have been extracted from my payroll. I think people of color are serviced differently. I been there in person a few times and I’ve seen customer service on both ends of the spectrum.

  Friendly, professional staff, and prompt service. Best banking experience ever! Don't know why I didn't switch over from large commercial banks sooner.

  I love this credit union! Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. They are also eager to help with any problems or questions you have! I highly recommend coming here, just walking in to do a transaction brightens your day!

  Closing my account here. Moved to buffalo and wanted to open an account with a credit Union. Beware, you really need to watch your bank account. I can’t begin to tell you the amount of times my money has gone missing. The first time they were nice put the money back in. The next two times acted like there was nothing they could do. I’ve lost at least $1,000 here and I don’t even know how to begin to get it back. Even the first time they never did a formal investigation just said ok and put the money back in. They should be closed down. Very shady.

  Nice people, and loan sale rates are occasionally excellent. I recently had an issue with their processing of an ach with no notification for 6+ weeks which exposed some fundamental flaws so I'll probably stick to larger institutions in the future. Edit: up to 4 stars for friendly & quick service I've received the few times I called since.

  I have been doing business with Amherst Credit Union for MANY years. The girls that work there are very helpful and courteous. I have dealt with other banks and they dont offer the warm and friendly feeling of this one. Keep up the good work girls.!!

  I been a member now for over 1 year. And the service is Always GREAT. In and out within 15 min or less.Plus they always go out to be helpful and understanding if you have questions. And not seeming like there trying to rush you.Also A+ for staff ALWAYS being friendly. A RATE them better then credit unions twice there size.And there a example of bigger is not always better.

  service was fast and VERY professional. And staff is very helpful and friendly. If you live In Amherst or Williamsville and don't have a bank or credit union.You should consider this credit union
