I am greatly pleased with the ease and comfort involved with setting up an account and can't wait to make Ameris my go to home bank. The online platform is extremely user friendly and again Leslie was super amazing at helping me setup the online banking and showing me the way around the app.

Kiva Bryan1Terrible experience at the drive thru today. I put my items in the lock box to be sent for service. The lady behind the window with dark hair and glasses never greeted me at all!! While waiting, I said to myself what bank does this?!!! I even spoke and never received a greet back. Finally, I had to pressed the call button. Loud as dayshe spoke clearly and loudly through the intercom.... yes? I said... really......what bank does not greet their customers?!!! She said I did!! I said no you did not! I can hear you now. When I tell you.....a prejudice spirit!! Yes, I said it....Prejudice!! I won't be going back and I will spread the word not to patronize this bank at all!!! Prejudice still exist in the South! This bank proved it!

Angie Sheldon1As soon as I am able, I will be closing my account and taking my bank business elsewhere. I have only been with the bank since February of this year and I am completely dissatisfied with the way the bank is run, especially their personal loan department. For months I have been trying to set up an auto debit for my personal loan and after dealing with countless people saying that the problem has been solved, when it hasn’t, and I am beyond tired of checking my account and finding and error on the bank’s behalf. I was even told by an employee that “ If I had done the math” I would have noticed the problem sooner! Extremely unprofessional! And inexcusable! I thought things had finally been resolved just over the last week, but I go to check my account this evening and they ONCE AGAIN, reversed a payment to my loan and credited it back into my account so it looks as though I did not pay ,y loan this month. My credit score has even been affected! And everyone passes the task off to someone else that doesn’t follow through. I’m going back to my previous bank where I never had any issues.

Tiffany Lumley2I give 2 Stars because the staff at this location has always been nice & helpful. Been a customer for years. But the merger into Ameris hasn't been great. I was told nothing was supposed to change since I was already a customer but so much has changed. And they gotten so much extra money out of me. I have now canceled any debit cards & have went strictly to pre-paid cards to avoid more money being taken from me. I am still considering closing both my accounts all together. This branch, itself is great. The bank is not.
