  Americay Mortgage was referred to us by our real estate agent. Chris Gilnack got us an awesome mortgage rate on our new home. There were some delays but this was because of the times we are in where Covid effects normal processing times etc. Chris was always a phone call away when you needed him or had a question. My wife and I love our new home but happy the process is over as buying a house can be stressful! Thanks Chris for all your hard work and dedication!

  Americay helped me refinance during the pandemic. A multitude of different reasons made my refinance difficult, which Chris explained to me was going to be the case well before we started. The entire staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The communication and patience dealing with me can not be overstated. I can't recommend Americay enough!

  Chris was able to walk us through the process to get us a competitive rate and close quickly. Since they are local, it was convenient in submitting all the documentation that was needed in advance to get us through underwriting quickly. His team was available whenever we had questions and they kept in touch regularly to let us know where we were at.

  Excellent working with Chris and Laura at Americay. As a first time home buyer I was not familiar with any aspects of buying a house especially with how flooded the home buying market is at the moment, fair to say I probably wouldn’t be getting into a house if it wasn’t for the great advice and knowledge from Chris.   My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Chris. He was always on point with what he needed for paperwork, questions etc. Was able to get us a lower rate than a big competitor and in the end was able to make things happen for us! We just closed on our first home 11/19/2018. Going thru the house buying process isn't an easy task but Chris made it as stress free as possible. We appreciate his hard work, will definitely recommend to others looking for their peaceful place😁

  My husband and I just purchased our first home. Everyone warned us of what a headache it would be to deal with our lender so we were bracing ourselves... for stress that never came. We went with Chris because he had good reviews online and also offered us the better rate compared to another lender we contacted for pre-approval. Chris was friendly, straightforward, and very accessible if we had any questions. The information we had to provide was simpler than we'd expected. Everything we needed to review was sent to us in a timely fashion. Maybe because our financial situation is pretty straightforward, but there were never any surprises that came up during the closing process. We had our closing disclosure in our inbox more than a week before our closing date. Chris stopped by our attorney's office when we closed and even gave us a really nice bottle of Malbec, the guy has good taste. Our lawyer also told us that based on the numbers it appeared we had been given a very fair loan. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the services Chris provided and would not hesitate to recommend him.

  Chris is very informative, detailed and knows his stuff. He looks out for your best interest and provides you with insight on the mortgage buying process. I could not recommend a better company to apply for a home mortgage, FHA or conventional. Do your self a favor and call Chris before you do anything else in the home buying process. Cheers Chris!

  Great experience with this company, mainly with Chris Gilnack, choosing a new home and actually getting it was a stressful and hard process, I was fortunate to have worked with great people that made this possible, anything I needed they thoroughly helped me through, from estimating how much I would’ve paid a month if I pick house A vs house B, to finding the best lender with the lowest rate and taking care of the whole process for me, very helpful, polite and professional. Thank you to Chris Gilnack and Laura too for all the help with everything, me and my wife are so happy that we finally found a great home at a great fixed rate, and it wouldn’t have been possible for us with our limited time and little knowledge of the process to have done any of this without their help.
