      I was very happy with the bank for many years but now my account was breached. they accused my wife of opening up a bill pay service account that we have never heard of or used. We don't use bill pay accounts. The account that breached my account set up a bill pay account against me and started drawing money out of my checking account using ACH transformers to a Wells Fargo account then covering it by transferring money from my savings to my checking. Bank is holding me responsible for this breach and refuses to cover my losses even under the FDIC or any other coverage they may have.

      Family oriented bank. Each member of the bank you know on a first name basis and, they make it a point to get to know you on a first name basis too. They make you feel welcome like you're part of their family. Ever since I have started banking with American National, over 10 years ago I couldn't imagine banking with any other bank.
