  We live in Kentucky, but ordered a Key West 263 FS from Keith which we purchased in March. He was professional, communicated well throughout the process, reviewed all the mechanics and accessories with us, and even helped us map a better route home. He offered for us to FaceTime him with any issues that we might have since this is our first boat and we live 12 hours away.. His customer service is the absolute best! He even brought the bought outside of NYC for us. Keith made the drive well worth it and we would definitely order from him again. Thanks for everything Keith. You are the BEST!!

  When you're this far from the water you're either good or you're out of business, and they have been in business for a very long time and they're more than just good. During the season there is typically a wait to get your boat in, but in my opinion it's worth it. Better to get the job done once and have it done right than to deal with breakdowns and return trips... Keith the owner not only manages the place, he's hands on in the shop. Keith seems to have limitless knowledge and first hand experience in the realm of marine mechanics. They seem to be selling boats too, which I'm glad to see because I a fan of Key West Boats as well. Glad to see nice people that run a good honest business doing well, and I hope they stay at it for many years (or decades) to come. I most recently utilized their services for a re-power of my 15 year old boat. Wanted the job done by American because of their trustworthy reputation and my dealings with Keith in the past. Keith is super nice and is always willing to take the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns. I am a regular customer, and I highly recommend American Marine.

  I have been getting my boat serviced by Keith for over 10 years with no issues. Summer is short, so I depend on Keith every year to make sure my boat is ready to go in the Spring and run strong into the Fall. I have not been disappointed. Very knowledgeable and Professional.

  I have been to this establishment 2 times now. Keith and his staff are some of the most honest professional people i have ever met. I am a new boater and to me figuring out how to fix and maintain a boat is intimidating. Keith takes the time to explain everything. American Marine really got me out of a jam yesterday. If you do not have a boat mechanic i highly suggest using American Marine. Thanks Keith, my family and i had a great day on the water yesterday because of you.

  I purchased my first boat from Keith at American Marine three years ago, and I still go back for parts and service. As a new boat owner, I have found Keith and the rest of the staff to be more than helpful with any and every question or concern I have had. They are very fair with their pricing, and any scheduled maintenance is finished in a timely fashion.

I have always been pleased with their professional services and have been thankful for Chris and Keith's honest and direct approach to best ensure a trouble free season without unnecessary expense. Their many years of experience are clearly evident, and they are always willing to take calls and converse in person to address my needs and to ensure we plan a maintenance program to maximize my boating pleasure.

  Keith and his team are the perfect professionals. Keith is beyond super accommodating and a total pleasure to work with. When I bottomed out and broke the prop by hitting a rock, I was able to make it back to Long Island from Connecticut, and with one phone call, Keith was waiting for us at a boat ramp, ready to take the boat back for repair. From the first day we met Keith at a boat show on Long Island, he made my wife and I feel totally comfortable with asking him many questions. In my opinion, Keith is the real-deal. He is full of integrity and honesty. In business, this can be hard to find, so if you are considering using American Marine, I cannot recommend Keith and his team enough.

  I was looking for a quality boat at a fair price and not looking to pay for a name. Key West fit that bill, had good customer reviews. In dealing with Keith at American Marine, he impressed me as a fair and reasonable guy. Having been boating for 30 years on Long Island I have found most marinas/service people to be somewhat difficult and unreliable. The experience with Keith and his shop (now going on 4 years of service, winterizing, spring commissioning etc.) is excellent. They do good work at a fair price. This is not the cheapest mechanics you will find but they are all well trained on the equipment and they charge a fair price and stand behind what they do. If I moved up in size ever, I would look first at Key West just because I would prefer to deal with these guys than others.

  Keith went over and above when i purchased a used boat from American marine. My son thought there may have been a issue with it under full throttle so Keith went out of his way to were the boat was docked to see what was going on any other place would have asked us to pull it out of the water and trailer it back to them. Great people and great service they obviously care about there business.
