  Lauren Albanese turns your GPS off if she can't reach you, by her own admittance she will turn the car off to get you to call her even if you are not behind on a payment. If the car is turned off for non payment and you make your payment online to get current, the car will not turn back on. You have to call them and tell them you made the payment, if you do this after they are closed, your out of luck until they open again. The company they use for the GPS installed it wrong and grounded the wire incorrectly and because this it is causing all kinds of electrical problems. I asked what will American Finance do to fix this and they told me it's my problem and won't have the GPS installer come rectify the installation. The government needs to regulate these companies Update My vehicle is to be paid off in a month, Susan who was my account manager apparently doesn't work their anymore. Lauren Albanese takes my account back over and repo' s my vehicle. When I call and literally ask her What the f@#$, she throws this Google review in my face. They offer no proof of balance owed, every amount is only given to you verbally. I spoke with her boss and all he does is say um and say federal regulations. Even though I have been paying more then my payment amount owed for the last several months some how I am behind 40 days on my payments according to them. I truly believe Lauren Albanese repossessed my vehicle because I gave her a bad Google review and hold American Finance responsable.

  Okay company to work with they do try to work with you making your payment. However they will turn your vehicle off if you don't respond to their calls. They turn my vehicle off for $22 which I thought was very Petty. But not recommend to anyone else

  The process of re-financing a home can be tedious one. Eric Frieboth & Doug Utter made the process an easy one. American Finances document base is located on a website and is very easy to load your proof documents for the process. The team was excellent with keeping us informed on the status and what was needed. I cant say enough good things about this experience. Definitely recommend this organization to any one who needs help re-financing their property.

  Don't believe anything these people say. After a written agreement with this company tgey still reported a negative to my credit. Even after they came up with the idea after my truck was problem after problem. Had nerve to sent me a loan recently after they said they would give me another loan after my finances got back on track. IT WAS ALL A LIE. But I was smart and kept the written agreement and I am pursuing them for what they reported on my credit. Don't do business with this company. Owned by a rich jackbutt who cares nothing about how his employees speak to customers. At the end of the day I got a loan elsewhere and a way better interest rate.

  This is a predatory finance company, they start harassing and threatening you with repossession if ur payments 1 day late and will repo your car if payments not made within 2 weeks, I have another car payment been late 30 days late never even a phone call as long as I pay it No problems. This company preys on people with bad credit I've even had to chase the tow truck away when my payment wasn't due for 2 weeks! If ur buying a used car and the name AMERICAN FINANCE pops up do your self a favor run for the hills or find a different finance option, these people are as dishonest as they come.

  The worst finance company ive ever worked with!! Before financing my vehicle with this company I viewed the reviews of people stating they shut off there car for no reason when I asked the dealership they said its probably people not making there payments THIS IS NOT TRUE I have been with this finance company for almost two years now my payments are always a month a head of time actual when I went to the bank for a loan I used my payment history from this finance company to help with loan approval but now not only will I be finding a new finace company tomarrow morning I will be in contacted with the better business buero due to the way this finace company treats people they actually shut off my GPS on my car just because the people working there are so disorganized they cant tell when they have and havent recieved a fax from an insurance company which by the way the general insurance company had faxed them my insurance information over 13 different times and they CLAIMED never to recieve it even tho I called and verified it afterwards they shut my car off?? This place is a complete joke and they need to hire people who know how to do their job properly and can read a damn fax!!

  Two weeks into having the car the windows wouldn't work right and transmission light came on, hit a deer last week and my car was deemed a total loss not only did I not get anything for the car but I'm out my down payment and no car

  Unprofessional! Brought a car from Holly Kia. Had valid car insurance from VA. Insurance company sent the declaration to dealership. Dealership sent me home with dealer tags not temps. American Finance calls me to schedule GPS install. Which verify that loan is approved! Dealership starts calling me about 4 days after I left lot asking for car back. They now wanted me to switch my insurance for Delaware Insurance. I informed them because my bank account is frozen I could not start a new insurance plan when my current insurance is valid and because I can't access the funds on my debit card. 3am a week and a day after buying car repo man shows up and takes the car. I have paperwork to authorize my use of car and dealer tags. There was no grounda for repo. Ask American Fiance for another dealer they deal with and they said they canceled my financing as a service to the dealer. They refuse to give me another dealer to go with. I will now loose my job due to loss of car!

  I had fallen on rough times, I do feel I need to go into detail but alot was happening to me all at once . I ended up getting behind Jamie was my account manager, well she was an absolute delight, she understand that things happen to people and worked with me. She eventually got her manager on board with trying to make my payments lower monthly buy extending my payments by 4 payments at the end of my lease but it would also bring me current . Mind you my car had been turned off so I paid 200 to get it turned back on and another 125 a week later . Than 1 week later they came to get my vehicle no emails no calls to me nor my co signer . No nothing. The repossession manager Lauren is very unprofessional and quiet rude. She wouldn't let me talk to my case manager Jamie or her manager Brian to ask what was going on, the only thing she kept repeating was we couldn't get a hold of you so we came and got it ... She isn't answering any of my questions thats all she kept saying she informed me everyone was off that I previously dealt with which is a flat out lie . I am really disappointed in this company i wouldn't recommend this place if they were the last finance company in The world , she was very unprofessional and un caring about what I thought was already worked out .it seems like the communication is very off with all of the employees . The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing . I'd never heard of this woman and never spoke to this woman and for that im greatful she is the worst so called professional woman ive ever had to deal with. as I see on these reviews with that company and her arwnt good at all maybe i should of looked them up befkre using them you live and learn .I've already contacted my lawyer and the Better Business Bearu. I have proof ive been making payments and ive never received Any communications from them which again I have proof of . Oh yea and The mail still runs too , you so poorly educated woman. You made ,and ,continue to make an ass of yourself and the compnay that continues to let you act like that. its sad that hard working people who don't deserve to be talked to or treated the way you so rudely handled my account . It's a shame people have to endure such ignorance while trying to get through hard times as well . thank you for this fabulous day American finance.. #gfy #a very pissed off previous customer
