  Absolutely blessed and honored to had work with Yahaira at AMC, she was honest and make sure everything was understandable she had an answer to every question we had. Helped us getting approved for down payment assistance as well. i mean she worked hard and made us feel so welcome since day 1 as if we were family or new each other for the longest. She is bilingual which is a HUGE plus since my husband is more comfortable with everything being talked in Spanish she made sure it was also well explained to my husband. She is amazing. I would definitely recommend AMC for your lender!

  Getting a mortgage and all the paperwork around it can be very frustrating - but not on this place ( in Oklahoma City).   Despite a last minute holdup which pushed our closing date back a few days, Tyler VanBeber (The Bearded Lender) was very knowledgable and helpful in providing solutions to getting us in our new home as soon as possible. He had exceptional communication with us, and was quick to provide solutions on locking down a home loan which worked for our budget.

  I'm angry. I'm angry that we went through the process of trying to get a mortgage with AMC. I am angry that when I asked directly about meeting face to face that if it was to sign paperwork or whatnot, I was told was to get the pre-qual letter. I am angry that when the face to face actually occurred, we were told that we didn't qualify because our debt to income is too high right now. Not an unmanageable issue, something we can take care of... but I am angry that the conversations were misleading. I am angry that you provided us with something to look forward to, that you gave us hope, and in no way or manner told us that ahead of time that we were looking at not being approved. We had a phone conversation that told us, no we didn't qualify for a conventional loan, but we would qualify for an FHA. It was still SOMETHING positive. It was something to look forward to. I spoke with our AMC loan officer numerous times over numerous days, even after he rescheduled our initial meeting... he could have been honest via our messages and said "Look, you guys don't qualify right now.... But let's talk to see what we can do to get you taken care of in the future." And he didn't. I feel like we were lied to. I feel like my time was swindled. I feel like this situation could have been handled so much better. I wouldn't recommend a company that makes you feel like you've lost some hope. I wouldn't recommend utilizing a company who makes you feel taken advantage of and lied to. And I hope to whomever is reading this, you heed what we experienced. Because it wasn't okay. I won't call out the Loan Officer by name, because he knows who is he, and I hope in the future you handle business a little bit different. You didn't just get an idea today that our finances weren't going to work. This wasn't news to you. You had to have known last week when we scheduled our appointment to meet yesterday. You had to have known yesterday when you had to cancel and reschedule for today. You knew and you let us believe and dream for several days that we'd be home owners soon. And that's not okay. False hope isn't okay.
