  I have been doing business with Alpha Pawn for several years now and I highly recommend them. They are extremely polite, professional, and beyond fair, which is an understatement. A while back I had fallen on hard times. With no other choice, I had to pawn my jewelry which had been passed down from family. Zach knew how much the pieces meant to me and bent over backwards to work with me so I didn't loose them. Having pawned other times in the past, I can say from experience that any other pawn company would have kept my items without hesitation, but this wasn't the case with Alpha Pawn. Not only did they work with me but they didn't charge me an arm and a leg to get my items out of pawn. Although they may not realize the full importance of how much I appreciated it, I wanted to at least share my experience with others and how much I highly recommend them!

  John G. was awesome to work with, these guys are always great..keep coming back for the service and environment Zach and Jeff foster! They will work with you on anything and if they don’t have exactly what you want they’ll help you find it in one of their other stores.

  I used to love this place and had a long standing relationship with them. So when I fell behind on my 2 24k rings and called to to talk to one of the guys there I was very happy that they said my beautiful rings were still there and they would give me a chance to come in the following week (today) to reinstate them I had every reason to trust that. I called today to let them know I was coming and was told that on Monday they sent them to be melted down!!!! After they had agreed to wait for me. I'm in tears. These were my wedding bands. Had they just been honest it would be different but instead they lied and now I'm devastated. Don't trust them. Get your things out as soon as possible. Their word means nothing to them and their response to not keeping their word is "yeah, it's gone." they could care less. Again I know it's a pawn shop but don't lie to customers. I'll never go back. After a long standing relationship they've lost my business.

  Dear Jennifer, At Alpha Pawn we try to do everything possible to make sure that our customers have the ability to redeem their pawned merchandise. We are more than happy to hold items past the forfeit date if we hear from you. You see it does us no good to take an item and sell it unless we must recoup the money that was initially loaned out, otherwise you may not have something to get a loan on in the future. At the time your item defaulted it had not seen a payment in OVER 4 MONTHS. Yes there was a note in the computer about an implied payment date, but it had even stretched beyond that. I understand that you are disappointed that the item has been melted down but once we send it to be refined there is no going back. As my well-meaning employee explained to you on the phone, we would love to have you pay the interest and get your rings back but it is physically impossible. Sorry for your disappointment.   I have been doing business with Alpha Pawn for a little over a year now. I had some bad experiences with other Pawn shops in the Olathe area before I found Alpha Pawn. Needless to say Alpha Pawn is the only pawn shop in the area that will get my business in the future! Jeff and John are very knowledgeable about all of their availabile products and they are both very friendly and easy to do business with.

  Very clean and well organized store. Employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. I got some Beats Headphones still in the original package and for a great price. I will be back.

  They are pretty great people!! My fiance and I go hear all the time.. we either pawn buy or sell all the time here!!! Jeff John and Zach are the best people to work with honestly!!!

  Alpha Pawn has a total of three convenient locations throughout the Metro area and one of them is in Olathe. They offer layaway, FFL transfers (purchase a firearm off internet, have it shipped to Alpha Pawn) then pick it up). The Olathe location is clean, COVID-19 compliant and staffed well. Best times are mid-afternoon as they do get quite busy!

  Do not take your music gear to this shop, they told me immediately that they have no market for instruments and offered me 430 bucks on 3000 bucks worth of stuff. The guys were really friendly and kind. Just don't bring them musical stuff.
