  I started banking with Alhambra when I got my first car and I decided to open a checking, savings, and credit card account since I figured I already had the loan. Each interaction with this financial institution is painful due to the outdated systems, and lack of knowledge to name a few things. Their credit card barely ever works and there have been instances where I need the funds that say they are available on the card yet I still get declined. I understand they work with another company for the credit card services but it seems that there is NO communication between this bank and the Visa card service company they use because typically the representatives at the bank have no idea what’s wrong with the card. This institution has a poor online website, the app is not as good as other banks, and they slower processing times than other banks I’ve used. As someone that has worked in the finance industry I highly recommend to go with any other bank for the sake of convenience and your sanity.

  Ronnie has helped me with 2 of my loans now, she's knowledgeable and helpful. The process is very straight forward when you work with someone that knows what their doing, and she did a great job getting back to me with information promptly.

  all staff has amazing customer service and the office is always clean, I recommend "Sonia" the sweetest and most helpful person ever, she NEVER disappoints !!! the only person i will trust with my accounting :)

  I am so glad we are members of the Alhambra Credit Union. When I hear people complaining about their bank I just say...join my credit union. They have been so helpful in so many ways..especially buying new cars. Love you girls, and Michael and Eddie.

  So I opened up a credit card with a limit of $100 that I put out of my pocket as a credit limit so I got an email recently stating my account had been closed and I figured I would call the bank to ask what happened to the $100 I had put down and their final response was it was kept as payment for me not using my card on a monthly bases ($5)than also charged me for paper statements every month ($2)as well which that hadn’t happened before and I was unaware that these charges would occur and hadn’t had any charges on my card for not using previously to them closing it so I hope they enjoy my $100 as I would always referred people to them to help them with their credit after this never again will I do so. I give them 1 star as they did help my credit go up but at a cost of $100!

  I am not one to write reviews, however this company needs to be exploited for their unethical business practices. We took out a car loan in 2011. The car was to be paid in full December of 2017. We received a balance owing still of over $6000. When contacted it took weeks for them to respond and finally tell us we had signed for a disability insurance that somehow was not included in our payment. We have never had that kind of insurance in the past and would never willing take out an insurance like that. The signed document clearly states that the insurances was included in our payment that we signed for. No statements reflect anything different and our payment book also shows the car being paid off in December. This is pure fraud. We are now in contact with an attorney.

  This credit union is very friendly and helpful ! If you ever need a car loan, Ronnie is the best to go too . She is excellent in explaining what the best option for you is and will help you save money and time !

  My husband and I worked with Ronita on a credit card. She was very responsive and so helpful. Her customer service is outstanding and she went above and beyond for us. I would recommend Ronita to anyone she is amazing!

  Great little credit union! This one is a gem, if you're looking for the personal service you'd expect from a credit union, Alhambra is the place to go. I am a customer for life, great experience everytime.

  Always amazing customer service and willing to go over and beyond for their customers! All employees whom, I have worked with have been very helpful and makes things so less stressful. They are all very efficient and prompt! The processes are smooth and not difficult! All ACU employees are a great asset to the ACU Family!
