  Alex and his team have been the absolute best to assist me throughout the process. Every question or concern I had - received an immediate response.. I was getting a lot of runs around from previous lenders I had inquired with - Alex was upfront to me about the whole process from start to finish/ no hidden costs- or other charges that I wasn’t aware of.   My mother and I decided to do a refinance for her home to take advantage of historically lower interest rates and use it as an opportunity to make some home improvements. After having spoken with other mortgage lenders that were providing outrageous rates above what is typical in today's markets, I decided to do some research and found Alex and his team on Yelp. I decided to give him a call and ask him what rates he might be able to offer given my situation. However, he instead informed me that although he would try and get the lowest rate possible, he was more concerned with tailoring his knowledge and service to cater to my specific needs, provide as much information as possible, and make this as smooth of a process as possible. So I decided to go with Alex and it was one of the smartest decisions I've made. In just under 5 weeks, Alex and his team were able to help close on a refinance with a great interest rate. Throughout the entire process they were very quick to respond to any questions I had, were very nice, and courteous. I will definitely being doing business with him in the future when I can afford to buy my first home. I highly recommend Alex and his team!

  As a first time home buyer, I cannot express enough how lucky and thankful that I found Alex and his team with Fairway Independent Mortgage as they assisted me from start to finish with getting my condo closed. I was given a very competitive pre-approval which helped with looking for the right place. Later on, Alex & his underwriting staff were extremely reliable, efficient and overall very dynamic with the mortgage closing process.   Alex was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He was able to step in after our initial lender declined to finance our purchase and was able to close our loan in under a month with an even more competitive rate. Even during Covid, the turnaround time for reviewing documents and answering questions was was very quick and most importantly he was always transparent and honest when having discussions about the mortgage process.
