  Chris Thomas with Alaska USA Mortgage and Loans was exceptional in the way he and his team handled the purchase of my property. He was extremely prompt in responding to my queries and concerns about details of the loan and the associated paperwork. This was absolutely essential in my case since I went through the process of identifying the property and arranging for the mortgage from an out of state location. I was present only on the day of the closing which was also, incidentally, the first in person walk through of the property. The amount of trust and confidence in Chris made the whole project possible. I must thank the real estate agent Jon Hill of EXP Realty who was the person who put me in touch with Chris...Kudos to the whole team...everyone did a fantastic job to ensure smooth sailing!

  This is the second time I used Alaska USA Mortgage Company for my home loan. I applied for a VA loan and the VA requires a lot of things. Chris Thomas mortgage loan originator kept me advised of every step from beginning to end. Buying a house was incredibly stressful this go around. Chris made the process extremely easy for me. When I had multiple questions he responded fast everytime. He's professional and knowledgeable. You can tell he's dedicated and committed to servicing his clients.   Chris did such an amazing job helping myself sort through all the little details that people must go through when buying a house in a remote place in Alaska: tilting issues, understanding who I needed to talk to about various parts of the loan and surrounding arrangements, and he also helped me make contact with many of these people I had to talk to. I could not have done it without him. I walked away feeling as if there were not a stone unturned in the loan acquisition and finishing process.

  If you can, have Chris Thomas help you out with anything. He is unbelievably helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. He exceeded all of my expectations for answering questions and being available. I never had to wait long for replies. He seemed to always have my best interest at heart exploring different possibilities and solutions to some of my complex issues/requests.   I was very happy with Chris, he was very professional and detailed. Chris frequently let me know how my refinance was moving along and always answered his phone when I called him. Chris was always prompt at finding the answer to my questions. Chris stayed on a 3 way call with Credit report people and helped straighten out the credit people, He also got with AKUSA loan Dept and helped me set up auto pay, Chris is a great guy and always went out of his to help.

  My experience with Chris at AKUSA was a blessing. My husband and I decided to pull our home mortgage from another banking facility and chose to refinance with AKUSA.
