      Always had good luck with my daughters account here. My checking account was a disaster and Alaska USA did nothing to help straighten out the multiple charges that accrued when they let a gas station continue to put a check through when there was no money available. Like literally three times a day for like three days at 20$ per time. I’m talking excessive. Otherwise great service.

      One of the slowest branches. Waited in line for almost over 30 minutes to get a new bank card only to be told they were out of stock. Went through the same thing the other day and the teller said they would be resupplied yesterday. Either she had bad information or everyone in Anchorage got a new card in one day. Tried to go on the app to order a card but it won't even load when I sign in. I know AKUSA has a lot of good ratings but they have given me a horrible banking experience this day.

      Had a very pleasant experience today at this branch. There was a bit of a line, but the teller had my issue solved in no time. Thanks so much for being open on Saturdays!

      We gone into the DeBarr branch twice to set up accounts and been turned away because they were too busy. I’ve heard their good if you already have an account but I guess we’ll never know now.

      Came in to refinance my truck at a lower interest rate after completing the refinance on my mortgage. I explicitly asked if the GAP coverage that I already paid for when I purchased the vehicle originally was transferrable- I was told that it was. Found out after the bank ran my credit that I was going to be re-charged $345 again for GAP coverage (if I opted for it) even though it's the same vehicle and the same bank. The person said they "misunderstood" instead of just apologizing and owning their mistake, which goes a long way. Fortunately my truck is worth a little more than I owe, but had those expectations been accurately set before the bank performed a credit check, it would have been a much better experience. If you do not know the answer to a question being asked, don't assume you know the answer- ask for help. Also, instead of the manager speaking with me when I was standing right in front of her, she relayed information to the teller to then repeat to me while I was within earshot.

      Today's service took way too long... over 30 minutes just to get to a teller. The tellers were also doing the work of the office people. Very inefficient
