  I was able to get a land loan from AgSouth Walterboro for a lot we wanted to build our retirement home on in Beaufort. I tried my local bank, credit union and even USAA. None would do a land loan for me at a good rate or without a huge downpayment. The Staff were super easy to work with and very responsive. We were able to get a good rate and term on the loan. They were easy to work with in getting the funds to the closing attorney and best of all we did all this from out of state. I was able to pay off the loan with no penalty and will definitely be contacting Ag South when we want to build and work out the construction loan. Thanks so much for all your assistance.
