  Like others have shared they have horrible checks and balances! DONT NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a seller who closed on a home yesterday. They had their closer come to our closing meeting. She had all documents and explained pricing breakdown. We'll come to find out there was a tax issue that came out wrong that impacted our cash to close balance. This was not caught before closing. The company calls me back today to say I owe the money AFTER the fact that their closer signed off on the documents. They say I signed an agreement that says if there are errors I would work with them. I'm upset because that wasn't explained at closing. They claim this hasn't happened before. Ok, I understand errors. I call to speak with the manager Dave Herbert and he says he can't do anything about it. NO ONE in their office checked our paper work or it wouldn't have made it to closing. He says it could have been a computer error or a human error but doesn't know the exact error, but that we have to be responsible for it. Who says they don't know the error as a manager and doesn’t try to help? So y'all are they just going to mess up peoples files and say oh it was an error who knows who made it but yeah! Piss poor! I even asked Dave to meet us half way if we could pay half the cost since it was their error and he said no because they only made $300 off of our closing. That isn't our issue and good customer service would have been to eat some cost since NO ONE in the office caught the issue. I asked him if this is how they conduct business where they just say the system makes an error and no humans actually check the paper work before closing. He couldn't answer that! Then he says he doesn't know how the error was made if it was computer or human. Which is it? They have poor customer service! I even tried to meet them half way and that wasn't good enough! I can understand not eating all the cost but not even half when you or your team did not check the paperwork. Clearly he isn't managing or they all must be working from home. I can understand mistakes but at the manager level you can certainly fix them. He was not willing to fix anything! They make mistakes and don't hold themselves accountable. I don't care if it was a system error, someone should have checked the paperwork BEFORE CLOSING! Even when the closer was going through she never mentioned this error! I wouldn't have been upset if it was before closing. Yes, they called the day after but it's after closing and their closer signed off on it. They clearly do not have checks and balances, and when they are confronted on it they deflect and don't accept responsibility.

  I will never do business with agility title again. The representative lied to me and overcharged me for homeowners association dues verification. They charged me twice to show that I was in good standing and the second charge included a $50 rush fee. This was clearly their mistake and they basically said tough luck when I brought it to their attention. I plan on I will never do business with agility title again.   Agility goes above and beyond to take care of their clients. Even in difficult transactions, they have gone out of their way and worked past business hours to get the job done for my clients. I'm thankful for the whole Agility team!

  Beware of this title company. They have poor internal controls/ checks. They failed to wire the seller proceeds from my home closing promptly. They only discovered that they had not wired the money when I/my realtor called repeatedly the following day. Someone "forgot" to sign off on the transfer. Still waiting to receive the funds the following day at 4:00 pm. Given the frequency of wire/mortgage fraud, they need to be more aware of the effect of this on their customers. Managing these types of details is the sole reason for these middlemen.

To accomplish this goal we always strictly adhere to the best practices that are published by the American Land Title Association. This file was handled and the wire was sent in compliance with those practices. In the case of a wire, it is impossible to predict at what time it will be received after it is sent. The best that we can do is to promise the customer that it will be received on a particular day. Our internal process that we have spent years refining resulted in you obtaining your funds on the day following the closing as you were promised. Due to your closing occurring after banking hours, the wire could not be sent until the following day.

  David Herbert and the team at Agility were very professional. They took great care of us during our REFI. Things went smoothly and they kept us updated thru the whole process.

  This company was terrible! Our lender recommend them because it would save us money at closing, but it cost us more in grief and money than it saved! They didn't check for liens against the property and the insurance we purchased from them was a complete scam. They refused to return our calls or emails. Basically,they took our money and ran!
