  Loan department is amazing! Easy to apply and fulfill. Viviana and Bernadette were so helpful in my auto loan process and even saved me $2000 in sketchy charges from the dealership. They helped me through every step of the way. Thank you girls!

  Worst credit union! My wallet was stolen. -You can't freeze your account/ credit card online. -The site provides a number to freeze your account. You call, and the lady tells you to call another number. -You call that number, they say to freeze it download their credit card app. -You download the app. You need to enter the number on the credit cards that were just stolen. Is customer service important? Is convenience for members important? Is providing tools during times when you have an account issue, technology that we haven't developed yet in this day an age? Please make it make sense!

  I visited the middletown branch to conduct shared transactions. In the pandemic era it is the first time I have ever showed my ID and not been asked to remove my mask to verify my identity. I am a member of a different credit union and presented out of state ID and they just handed me $1000 no questions asked. I cannot even buy a pack of smokes without showing my face but I can withdraw a large sum of cash I guess. Today I got a follow up phone call telling me if I expressed my displeasure at the CU's lax protection they couldn't help me anymore, because they don't need my opinion. Credit unions are member owned. They don't care about you or your finances. Avoid at all costs

  Their Middletown,NJ branch does not have a drive thru. I didn't mind not able to come in to the branch to get more than $1,000 for the last few months due to COVID. I drove 30 miles to Edison so I can use the drive thru, the experience in the Edison drive thru was bad, but that's a different story. I don't usually write reviews, but I went on Affinity's website yesterday and realized you can go into the Middletown branch and sign up for a new account. I called the branch today and ask why can't I make an appointment to come in to get some cash? They said they don't do that? But why not?? It's 8/11/2020 and I called TD bank, they said sure, make an appointment, come in and get what you need.

  Place is a scam. Tell you one thing then 3 weeks later it's totally different. Don't use this bank for auto loans.
