N B1Not like they used to be years ago. Walked in the bank for assistance because the ATM was not recognizing a bill for deposit. Sam thing happened to another customer in front of me. Upon walking in I immediately noticed there were 3 tellers available. One black woman was assisting another customer. The other ladies two blondes stood around chit chatting while I stood waiting for at least five minutes. This is not the first time I’ve seen this happen and it wasn’t the first time happening at the same location. These women actually waited until the black woman teller was finished and then asked me if I needed help. Obviously I did. The New Brunswick branch is better but parking is awful. My husband and I have decided it’s time to move on. Better service is expected.

Ron M2I am a long time member, joined another branch in Piscataway. I find the Edison branch, while newer and larger is lacking. Inadequate parking. Not enough tellers, resulting in long wait times, especially on Saturdays. Nice staff and good services. Not as competitive as they used to be.

Justin Boyd5Uma is wonderful and I enjoy the rest of the staff as well. Transparency is important to me and that's what Uma provides every time I visit or contact via call and email. I do my research as everyone should, the great part is getting another mind to review your ideas. I am just getting started on hitting my financial goals and Affinity is helping me make them a reality!

Darlene Arias5I went to Affinity with the intention of simply opening an additional account and I walked out with so much more! I first met with Tammy who is amazing at her job, you can tell she is truly passionate about helping people financially. She did a thorough financial review and because of her review, she was able to show me how I could save thousands of dollars annually and shorten the length of time I repay my student loans. Before Tammy, I did not even think that was possible!! I returned to the branch again to close on my loan and met the rest of branch staff and was personally assisted by the branch manager Melissa who carefully explained the terms and language of the loan. I cannot stop recommending Affinity enough to my family friends and colleagues, especially this branch! Thank you Affinity!

Lakiah Stewart2Banks are busy on a Saturday , and that is to be understood; however I waited over an hour to see a customer service Representative. Although each customer’s Transaction is important and is natural to want to provide ‘great service’, there was no sense of urgency by the CSR’s to get people in and out. They were having conversations that had nothing to do with banking, which extended the transaction much longer than it needed to be , and it was honestly frustrating.! When the branch is that busy, be mindful of the many customers who waited well over an hour to speak with you. All i needed was a debit card. I ordered one monday and when it didn’t arrive by Saturday. I had to go in the branch. They want to charge me $15 to overnight one. Seriously considering going to another credit union. The lines were almost out the door. Affinity needs to build more branches! This Credit union is not what it was 8 years ago when I joined. They no longer have any regard for the satisfaction of their customer’s and are no longer concerned with quality.; my experiences with them today definitely proved that.

Jonathan Wilner5Our business has been a member since 2005. Started in Piscataway, NJ and moved over to the Edison, NJ Branch when it opened for even more convenience. The team is extremely helpful and also want to make sure that everything that you needed to get done is done and executed correctly. Always with a smile when I come in and almost never a wait to see a relation specialist. I couldn't think of banking anywhere else ever since I came to the branch in Edison. So if you want something different and better than what you had then stop in to the Edison branch and tell them Jonathan sent you!

D S5Charlene J helped me to get started with my Affinity account which has been one of the best financial decisions i've ever made. She always followed up with me and kept her cool throughout my constant back and forth communications to her. I highly recommend Charlene to anyone interested in Affinity financial products. My wife needed a new car and Desiree helped us with a debt consolidation and a new auto loan. Desiree's patience and personality was able to keep my wife calm and smiling throughout the process. We almost forgot we were applying for a loan. She has great communication skills and stays on top of what she's doing. She is a pleasure to work with and we look forward to working with her again in the future. I followed up on my debt consolidation and spoke with Shaniqua who was extremely patient and wanted to make sure I had all the details I needed before hanging up the phone. It is such a great feeling to not feel rushed and to know that someone is thinking ahead and wants to make sure your question is completely answered by the time you hang up. The branch manager Nicole, is doing a wonderful job and it shows. Please recognize the individuals mentioned in this review as they are top notch employees who make Affinity shine. Thanks again!
