      I have dealt with many banks in the past but I have to say this bank is absolutely the worse when it comes to opening a checking account despite the reviews rating this a top military bank. On November 10th I applied to opening an account, on November 12th I sent the requested documents (Drivers License, Lease Agreement, Social Security Card), on November 14th I followed up on my application; however the representative Steven stated he could find my paperwork on his desk and he'd call me back. Long story short he never called me back. I did another follow up a few days later and was told by the call center that Stevens manager will call me back. On November 20th a manager called and asked me some questions and stated everything appears to be okay and she'll give my file back to the processors. On November 27 I called to follow up and was told Steven was on vacation and the other representatives was unable to access my files because they are located in Stevens email. I asked to speak with the manager I spoke with on the 20th November and was told she was also on vacation. The call center tried their best to locate someone in the account opening department to assist me and asked me to resend all my documents to Maria. On the same day moments later I did send my documents to Maria on the 27th, however she never followed up with me on my email nor never answered any of my calls to her extension. The call center put in a request for her to contact me immediately but she failed to do so. Therefore, I called the call center back and they found another gentlemen to assist me. This gentlemen informed me that he received my documents a few moments ago and that he'll be processing the account by the end of business. We'll see what happens. Recommendations: Implement an centralized or internal department system (like SharePoint) for all reps of that department to see clients files. This would prevent inconveniencing customers due the original representative being out of office. Also reps should be mandated to follow up on emails verses leaving customers in the wind. These a simple task that can be implemented.

      This place will take you if you work at Chick-fil-A, Chuy's Mexican Food, Schlotzsky's and many other places but will not take an Honorable discharged Purple heart Iraq war and war on terrorism combat Vet. I might also add a employee of National Parks service! Sad really it is!
