Advance Financial - Corporate Office Reviews

Carla Gibson1I cannot wait to pay this loan off. Before I used to think it wasn’t that bad but don’t let a problem arise. So first my automatic draft hadn’t been coming out because they had not set my new card as the main one. Then I was double charged because no one could tell me why my draft still wasn’t coming out for 2 months. Then they pick a random month to draft and accept my cash payment. Then they decided to put my cash payment toward next month so the double charge made my bank account negative. Then because they never updated my address or asked if my address was still the same they bank drafted instead of pulling from my debt card so now my account is on hold for taking money because it hasn’t posted on their end from my last payment. If it’s not one things it’s another. On top of that you can’t speak to a manager unless you schedule a call back or drive up to the corporate office to make a scene. This company is so poor. If you don’t have to don’t ever in your life get an account from them. Just work extra or door dash instacart anything else but getting this loan. They only answer to big scenes and determination for proper service .

C Pledger1On 12/8 I read my contract and followed the given directions for revocation of ACH/EFT permissions and sent it to the requested email stated in the contract. On 12/13 my account was debited via ACH for my payment. The contract only requires a 3 day advance notice which was provided. After reading their email reply, I noticed that they tried to start the 3 days from the date that actually opened the email but their contact language doesn’t allow for that. On 12/13 I called in and the man I spoke with claimed to have never gotten a revocation and said the email address the contract instructed clients to send revocations to is ignored by the company and I should have just sent it elsewhere. Oddly enough, their email on 12/9 stated to guarantee that no payment would be taken to call them. I prefer to do EVERYTHING in writing when dealing with written legal contacts. I feel that this has all been a ploy to duck and dodge their own contracts and federal banking laws. They had a valid ACH/EFT revocation in their required email in the proper window of time and ignored it with the intention of withdrawing another payment. I have reported them to every government agency I can find and will continue to do so until they refund the illegal payment they took from my account.

JeToya Christmas1PLEASE READ BEFORE BORROWING! I wish I could give zero stars but it doesn't allow me to. I applied and was accepted for a $405 flex loan on 8/2019. Every 28 days $111.72 was deducted from my bank account via ACH. Here it is 4/29/2021 and $111.72 was deducted. When I called to question I was advised that each payment only paid towards the interest and never the principal. When asked how much my pay off was I was advised $293.28... along with the $111.72 already deducted payment today totals the amount I originally borrowed. Needless to say I have now paid over $2000 for a $405 loan. NEVER AGAIN!

Porters Tops1This company steals robs and blindsides it’s Customers. I have had an account and all started fine and for reasons unknown by apparently anyone it just started doing bills every 10 days instead of on my pay days I called and let them sync with my bank so they could see paydays and align payments to said dates after 7 phone calls and 7 times they synced account they still have money trying to come out on wrong days they advised me I would have to call every time to manually change the payment dates every time and also call in to make said payments since they were changed. It’s just there way of trying to trick you into a collections trap where they can charge you mad fees and collections I don’t recommend anyone use this service. If u need cash that bad find alternative company or go rob a bank either would less hassle than this nasty excuse of a business. Just kidding don’t rob a bank. Just don’t use this company.

Olivia Kidwell1I wouldn’t even give this company 1 star. I was out of work for 3 months due to the birth of my child and I recently started back to work. They started taking money back out of my account when I started back to work like normal. I got paid yesterday and they took my remaining $300 balance out of my account without asking. That left me with $40 for 2 weeks and I have to buy formula for my child. I called to talk to a rep and he just said that that’s unfortunate. He didn’t try to work with me or anything. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS AT ALL.
Response from the ownerOlivia, so sorry about this experience. We try to always go above and beyond for our customers. Please give us your contact info at [email protected] so we can talk this through and figure something out.

Kimberly Phillips1If I could give a Zero for people Not doing their jobs as they said they would. I like many people are out of work due to Covid-19. I've been making arrangements to pay until I am employed again. I've held up my end of the bargain and Advance still took out extra money from my bank account which sent my account into a negative balance of 300 plus dollars. They took out 496 dollars on me when I had done just as they ask. I made arrangements to pay after i paid the balance we agreed upon.. Now I have to wait 7 to 10 business days to get my money back and no way to pay my bills because they did not do as they were supposed too.. i never wanted to get a Flex loan before because i knew they are all rip offs! No wonder so many people don't pay them back. As fast as they took the money out they should give it back. please please please if you don't have to get a Flex loan dont do it. Its a trap that will keep you owing them and you'll never get them paid off. It's like owing the Mob. Its designed to keep you in debt. And I asked for a email which I have not received asking are they gonna pay my overdraft fee's. Its their fault I'm in the negative. STAY AWAY FROM ADVANCE FINANCIAL. I SHOULD JUST CLOSE MY ACCOUNT

Gloria Parks1I took out a loan with this company and I paid it off within a couple of weeks. When I logged into my account is shows a 0.00 balance and when I click on refinance/payment it shows I owe $34.18 and it is scheduled to be debited from my account in October several months from now, Every time I call customer services no one can explain why I have a balance and why it scheduled to be debited several months from now, I think this a scheme. Now I have to close my current checking account and open another. I also have contact all my creditors that I automatic drafts and reset those accounts. Everyone I talk to seems to be in the corporate office but fix this issue.

Obioma Okoro1If I could five 0 stars I literally would, I sent several emails in regards to cancelling my loan. No responce. I called and spoke with the 2 unprofessional supervisors, and got hung up on. They are very unprofessional, please DO NOT COME HERE FOR YOUR FINANCIAL NEEDS. Very unorganized. instead of trying to fix the issue, they instead charged me over $200 for funds I never used. Please avoid this place at any cost. till today I have not heard back from anyone, Complete thieves!!!
