  This is a 2 star review because I am fair, and while angry, I did get into my home and close. That however wasn't my issue. My issue is solely with the customer service I endured going through this company. I had David Fowler as a lender, who was referred to me by a trusted friend, and whom the friend now regrets ever sending me that way in the first place. He starts off by answering questions politely and friendly, and once you get into signing paperwork to begin the lending process is when he began to stop being helpful. I asked him for a document at the beginning of the process SEVEN times, seven times in which he assured me he would get it to me and I never saw that paperwork. The paperwork wasn't the biggest deal as it wasn't make or break for the deal, especially because I trusted him at this point, but soon after the communication fell short. When asked for updates and to keep communication between us alive, he was condescending and would continuously tell me how long he'd been doing this (over 40 years) and telling me how much money I was borrowing, as if I was not aware of the quantity of money that goes into purchasing a home. I was a first time home buyer, and the service I was supposed to receive was that in which the buyer was looked after and that everything was ensured by the lender to go smoothly (i.e. documents signed on time, double checking said documents for errors, ensuring things ran smoothly, etc.) I did not and do not feel taken care of. Communication was my biggest complaint, as when asked for updates, he would complain to me that he was being pestered by the buying agent, selling agent, and the people waiting on him to ensure that things went well so all the pieces of the puzzle could fall into place, and instead of communicating with me and keeping me in the loop, he stopped talking to me. Things needed to be brought to the table for closing kept changing from this to this to this without warning, and when asked to explain, i was met with condescending tones once more. I understand things change, and that's unfortunate, but what I don't appreciate is the lack of responsibility and respect that he showed by not including me in those changes and being courteous enough to tell me without me having to call him less than 24 hours before closing and finding out the amount needed to bring to closing the next day went up by 3x the original amount that he had told me. David did not message me the day of closing, and did not show up either. In fact I have not heard from him in over a month at this point, and I complained to his branch manager who admitted that I received terrible service.

  I highly recommend Acopia for home loans and refinancing. I worked with Mrs. Sissy Davis. She and her amazing team helped me find the best loan for my financial and home needs. When working with her, she promptly responded to ALL of my questions. As a newbie to the process she listened and explained everything in easy to understand terms. Home loans aren’t simple. Mrs. Davis fought to help me get into forever home.

  I was nervous at first because I had never heard of the company before, I am a single mom, and we are of different races. I worked with Sam Hendrickson and he was amazing! I felt so secure! He was so knowledgeable and held genuine concern for my home loan well being. He went over and beyond to help me and was readily available to answer questions by text, phone, email and even on Sunday with a prompt response! I was so pleased and happy to work with him. Another plus was his team! Ms. Jennifer and the rest of the ladies were so friendly and also quick to respond. They too care if one another as well as mu family. It was a beautiful team effort. They now feel like part of my family. I highly recommend others to work with Sam at Acopia Home Loans. They did what Wells Fargo could not and was unwilling to do for me....

  This was an overall horrible experience I worked with Sissy Davis and she just Stopped returning my phone calls and my emails in the middle of the loan process. This was very unprofessional and now I have a stain on my credit report due to her. I can only assume that this is the standard for Acopia home loans which again is very unprofessional.

  Ms Lynn Hall was amazing she took care of me for both of my loans she was very professional and always kept me up-to-date. If I have to do another mortgage I will call her again. She got me one of the lowest rates I ever had.

  Acopia Home Loans was very professional. They were always quick to provide an answer when needed. I had an extremely fast closing, and they were able to get everything done on time. I highly recommend anyone buying a home to go with Acopia Home Loans.

  Best company to process your refinance! I wouldn't choose any other company. If you decide to refinance in the Fayetteville area, ask for Sam Henrickson. He will not disappoint!

  Been almost a month since my credit was ran and I have heard nothing back. Asked for an update via text and did not receive a response back. I understand being busy but please keep me in the loop, I haven’t been given a time frame or even idea on how long this process may take Decided to add that I went through another lender and got a pre approval the very next day
