  Ace is a fantastic agent! She was reccomended to us by a friend when we wanted to jump on a property quickly. I called her and told her we went to an open house, were very interested and wanted to put in an offer. She returned my call promptly and she immediately starting getting paperwork together to put in an offer that same day. She was very confident with our offer and we got accepted! She helped us through the entire process from start to finish. Her communication was clear and direct, she is very knowledgeable and advocated for us. She has numerous reputable contacts from insurance agents to general contractors and was able to get multiple inspections completed in a short time period.   Ace is the easiest person to work with in our area, but don’t let that friendly easy side fool you…she has a tremendous work ethic and she will work like crazy to make sure you get what you need. She does it with professionalism and ease throughout the entire process. If you want someone to do what they say they will, to work hard for you, to deliver…she is your person. Knowing you have someone who is always in your corner fighting for you is an amazing feeling. I’m so impressed with her, she’s exceptionally responsive, she works to understand exactly what you need and then manages to make it happen. Above and beyond in all areas.   Ace is an absolute rockstar of an agent and will go above and beyond! I recently decided to move back to Santa Cruz after years of being away and was referred to Ace by a mutual friend. Ace knew all of Santa Cruz County like the back of her hand. I consider myself a local as this is my hometown, but damn she put me to shame. She knew everything around here! Ace never stopped, even when we ran into some issues and we lost out on a house I wanted, she kept going.   Ace is an excellent buyer's agent.  Ace and her team worked with us for about 2 years in a very challenging market for our first home purchase.  We investigated many properties and made a number of offers until we finally found the right property at the right price.   We have lived in Santa Cruz and been homeowners for over a decade and have worked closely with several local realtors during that time. Ace is hands-down the best realtor we have worked with and we can’t say enough good things about working with her. We worked with Ace during a really emotional and difficult time, after a wildfire forced us to sell our first home and unexpectedly threw us back into an extremely aggressive housing market. The buying market in Santa Cruz right now is easily one of the most challenging markets in the US, with record low inventory, sky high prices, out of town buyers squeezing out local families, massive bidding wars, and many properties in our price range in extremely poor condition. We also had precise parameters for what we were looking for—an older home with charm in a walkable part of town—and our resources were limited. At many points we worried that finding a new home was out of reach for us. Ace worked with us patiently for months, visiting properties with us, alerting us to new listings before they went live so that we could be the first people to see new (or off market) listings, helping us strategize about how to make strong offers in a uniquely tough market, remaining encouraging while keeping our expectations realistic, and advising us throughout the process. Ace is a true Santa Cruz local who grew up here, and she knows the ins and outs of properties here in meticulous detail. She is incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented about how to assess the condition of a home, and knows exactly what questions to ask, what problems are serious and what problems seem serious but are easy to solve, and where to get answers when something about a property is unclear. Any time we had a question about anything, she was immediately on top of it, reaching out to contractors to get price estimates or to city officials to get detailed information about a property’s permitting history, so that we could make the most informed decisions possible before making an offer. Ace also earned our trust by steering us away from properties that she felt were too risky for us—this made us really appreciate her honesty and feel that she was looking out for us rather than trying to make a quick sale (we have worked with other realtors in town who we felt were trying to push us into making decisions that felt uncomfortable). When we finally found the place that we ended up buying, we had to make an incredibly fast offer with no contingencies or inspections. Ace got us to the listing on the first possible day, and then very quickly brought out a contractor so that we could unofficially inspect the property before we made a no-contingencies offer. With any other realtor, this would have been a really scary way to make such a big purchase, but we trusted Ace to guide us through this process . It honestly feels like a bit of a miracle that we’ve finally found a new home, and it is 100% thanks to Ace!
