  Overall I felt like the experience working with Academy mortgage was good. Their communication was excellent. I felt like I knew what was going on through out the process. At times it was discouraging because of the documentation required for unexpected money that we received and put in our bank account. The good experience out weighs the tense moments!

  I worked with Nelson Barss at Academy Mortgage on a refinance. He was wonderful. He first walked me through my credit history and explained my options. He was professional and smart -- which gave me confidence in the process. He communicated with me after each step in the process and explained what would happen next. It was such a positive experience for me.

  We recently did a refinance with Academy Mortgage. It was the most pleasant experience we have had and by far the easiest one. We had to call Logan quite often with questions that he was able to answer and help us with. He was available for our needs and the process went quickly and without one bump. We appreciate all that Logan Jenson and the other people that helped to expedite the process and make it a pleasant experience.

  We closed on our new construction home after working with Academy for 7 months to get the right loan product for our needs. They were patient and never told us we might be over our heads and offered assistance and answered questions when needed. We did have a little trouble with the underwriter not having the right docs when we were near our closing date. But, all in all, Academy is very thorough and knowledgeable.
