  Heads up, they sell your mortgage to other companies before the ink is even dry. We went with these guys based on recommendation from our real estate agent (after they bad mouthed our bank and put this agents name all over our loan documents without our permission). It was still a local company so we let it ride. We just signed middle of August, first payment not sure until October. Just got notice in the mail from a lender saying they now hold our mortgage. Just received notice TODAY from Academy that "oh hey by the way, we don't hold your loan anymore". If you like bait and switch, these are your people!!

  Dustin Sidwell at Academy Mortgage made applying and accepting a home loan an easy process. He was very professional and trustworthy- I knew I was in good hands. His assistant, Courtney, was great too! Their communication with me was on point and they were very organized. I didn't doubt it once that I had chose the right lendor.   Dustin is amazing. He seems to genuinely care and treated me as I was the most important person every time we met or spoke on the phone. He never spoke over me or down to me. He took the time to make sure I understood the entire process. His assistant, Courtney, stayed on top of things too making sure the whole mortgage went smoothly. Definitely recommend Academy Mortgage!!!

  I went on a hunch to purchase a home as i did not know were to start or what to do and expect. After researching lending company's i came across Academy Mortgage Corporation. John Burnett From Academy gave me a call and started by explaining how the process would work and what was needed. After i was Pre approved by Academy Mortgage Corporation, John and his team at Academy Mortgage started working with me fearlessly to get the process going and be successful in purchasing my first home. I had the pleasure to meet John Burnett at his office in the Colorado Springs area. This is were he presented me with a structured plan as to what way we should go and how we will approach the process, along with all the documents i could gather before the Buying process starts to avoid any delays in the road to purchase a house. Even with a couple small bumps in the road from the Sellers and builders side, John and his team from Academy Mortgage Corporation stood by my side and walked me through it and gave me assurance we are on track to close. Ultimately John and his team made a dream a reality and now i have the house i wanted.   Working with Dustin Sidwell was fantastic! He was really great at communicating and letting us know where we were in the process. He was also great at explaining things and didn't have any issues reviewing my engineering spreadsheets of the numbers. Academy did a great job earning my trust and definitely made me feel that they appreciated my business. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Academy and Dustin again.

  Couldn't have asked for a better first time home buyers experience. Dustin and his team took the time to explain everything to me and listen to all my requests. They worked very hard even over the holiday to ensure I got my house. Not only did they give me the best rate but they made the process easy and enjoyable.

  Kim at Academy Mortgage made my experience as a first time homebuyer so easy! She was very thorough and efficient and walked me through the process step by step. She even remembered that I have strange working hours and tried to schedule her communication around the times I was off work.
