  I am a single mother and this was my first time trying to refinance my home after living in it for 16 years. I wanted to complete much needed repairs that I couldn't afford on my own. I had to submit documents several times. Had a home inspection completed and was told that repairs on my home had to be completed before we could refinance. I told them that was the whole reason for refinancing. They then me my other option was to get a completely different type of loan but I have to submit 3 estimates for everything I needed to fix and submit invoices from contractors. I was never given a time frame when the repairs had to be completed either. One requirement was that I had to repaint my house but I wanted to change the color of my house. I asked if I could just paint over certain areas with tinted primer that matched my house until the loan went through then I could paint it the color I wanted. I didn't hear back from them on that so I call the company who did the inspection and asked him. He informed me that it was completely up to the bank on when and how these items needed to be completed and the inspection was good for 6 months. When I told them there was no way I could complete these items in time ( I was working on my house alone) and the other loan option who be too expensive for me and out of my budget. They said there was nothing else they could offer. I had to close the loan. Then I received a bill from the title company for $1,075 for preliminary services. I contacted 1st Tribal about it and they told me to call the title company to let them know the loan was never closed on and that they "might not charge me" and that they didn't think I would be receiving any other invoices. I will not refer anyone to them.

  Adam Hicks and Angela Jameson were an unstoppable and super reliable team! They never dropped a single ball and went above and beyond numerous times to ensure that our home closing was a success. They were able to get us the best rates that we've seen in our lifetimes and helped us through buying a home over Zoom. Only the walk through and closing were in person. They really are very familiar with the §184 lending rules and abilities and really came through for us and helped us through it all. What a great team!

  First tribal lending went above and beyond to help us with our home loan and refinancing. They are very knowledgeable and explain step by step everything to you in detail. They are very reassuring. I highly recommend them. They respond right away and are with you every step of the way. Our loan officer Grant Gaertner is very honest and got us the best loan that worked for us.   We noticed the interest rates were dropping so I left a message for Renee to see if we could refinance. She got back to us quickly and set it all up for us.   This was our second mortgage with Tribal Lending and Adam Hicks and his team. First time the process was made easy with expert direction and service so when we wanted to refi we figured why not use them again. I didn’t think it could go better than the first time but it did. All we can say is if u use Adam and his team u are in really good hands.
