"Horrible member service. Recently tried to contact WCU about an issue on my account, called in to the published phone number and sat on hold for 15 min. When I was finally assisted, I was greeted by a pleasant lady who told me she was unable to assist me or reference my account and that I would be called the next day instead by an account specialist. When asked if there was someone whom I could talk to today, she referred me to call my local branch. When asked if she could transfer and I was informed that she could not transfer outside of her dept. Upon calling the local branch I was automatically routed back to the call center and put on hold for another 15 min. After being escalated to a supervisor again I was told I couldn't be assisted, nor transferred nor helped in anyway. Again I was referred to talk to the local branch. The whole time I was on the phone I was reminded me of the horrible circular customer service we have come to expect from corporate cable companies. I expected better from my local credit union and will definitely be closing my membership after 5 years as a loyal member."
