  Opened a new checking account with a 2,000 deposit. Found out later the Timberlake branch hit my credit report with a hard inquiry. No one ask me or told me they did this. It takes two years for it to fall off. I didn’t ask for a loan or a credit card. What a great start for someone who just opened a new checking account. I’m so looking forward to being screwed over in the future. Customer beware!

  Worst bank experience ever. None of their so called updated and modern systems work with any device. If you do any transactions over 100$ the fraudulent charge department shuts down your card without notice and has left us high and dry at restaurants and on trips more than twice and all they tell us oh I'm sorry that's just how it is. No updates or even trying to show effort to fix these problems.

  We have been beyond pleased with Central Virginia Federal Credit Union! Lisa was terrific getting our accounts set up and quick processing of our new watercraft loan. Jackie has been quick to reply to email and sending documents needed. We are so happy we decided to check out CVFCU and have moved all of our accounts there.

  I'm not to type to leave complaints online, and I'm not sure if I just got spoiled from my other bank or what (I've had 3 other banks. and these protocols seem unnecessary and unusual.) But I'm a new customer. I sadly had to leave my primary bank. The website is awful. The login protocol is awful. There's no customer support during the "off" hours to assist you as to WHY you can't see your bank account. In order to activate your new card you have to go to the drive thru then wait 24 Hrs for it to be activated. It sucks when you're going out of town that night and need a tank of gas. #ridiculous
