  I am so glad Y-12 credit unions as popular if not more than cruddy Bank of America. This location offers Co-op Shared Branching! So if you have a credit union account with co-op, you can do business here! Also, you are exempt from the $2.00 fee they recently had to impose on it's member for a bank check. The cashier's check still costs about $1.50 for everybody. The staff at Every branch is so kind, quick and accurate; I am proud to be able to do business with this company. Traffic in this area gets pretty bad around lunchtime, and the constuction doesn't help

  This credit union has been very helpful in offering options based on the needs at the time. The employee also offered that the options I chose on day can be changed when the need arises without any hassle. The employees make the credit union. So thankful I chose Y12 when I moved to Knoxville.

  Very helpful to create money market account because had to move from existing 2.5 percent interest account due to changes to increase profits for Y-12. That type of account is no longer available. Not happy about being forced to make 20 debit card transactions every month or get charged $10 month account fee.

  We love Y12! The Hardin Valley branch is our preferred branch. We do personal banking thru Y12 as well as auto loans. Need a loan? Tawnee is the lady to talk to! She is great at what she does! Our only complaints are the personal teller screens in the lobby. If i wanted to talk to a teller on a screen, I would use the drive thru. When i go in the lobby i want to deal with someone in-person. That is the only thing i wish that Y12 would change.

  Y-12FCU is a truly innovative credit union! The digital offerings are as robust and easy to use as walking into a branch or picking up the phone and calling their Member Service Center. The wealth of options and flexibility make them my credit union of choice!

  If you love impersonal and distance relationship with your credit union then they have you covered. You might want to just bank online. Saves you driving to their monitor!

  My mother banked at Y12 Credit Union and recently passed away. I chose the Hardin Valley location to visit for help with her account. Every person I dealt with at this location, from the Branch Manager to the customer service representatives, was very helpful and extremely kind. If I ever move back to East Tennessee, this will be the bank of my choice.

  Happy to do our business banking with Y-12! The location and hours are really convenient for us; and Deanna, Tiffany, Ashley and the other staff members are friendly, professional, and helpful! Highly recommend giving them a try!
