World Omni Financial Corp Reviews

T Tunes1I’ll keep it short and sweet. Vehicle paid off $10,150. Posted payment of $10,000 online portal because I do not trust to send in the mail. Over four business days later payment has been drafted from my account for days but it still not posted to the portal and now shows me four days past due. Cannot get an answer from the company. Funny how they will take $10,000 from you and won’t explain anything to you for days but then the moment you are a few days late they will penalize your credit and send you several notices , blow your phone up , etc. Just like everyone else on this comment thread I will never finance with this company again and will suggest anyone financing that they avoid this company at all costs. Communication is terrible and there is no value or respect for the customers who are paying .

SHEHZAD WAHEED1Be careful when you leasing or financing a car from south east Toyota finance thru Toyota head quarter. They work together but when it comes to deal end or finishing installment they send you a un relevant bill which is even not making sense what they are sending. I am done with all my installment and got a new car from them and they send me a bill which is not apply on me from any direction i am getting an Attorney to sue them soon. That's not how they supposed to deal with their customer. I regret to lease an other Toyota car. Hope you guys don't do this mistake.

Graystone Industries1SO BAD! This is for their Southeast Toyota Finance division. 3 year lease and at the end I owed 18 cents a mile for overage. Took 6 weeks of calling to even get an invoice then it was billed out higher than my contract. Their WEB SITE has been down for OVER a week and on the phone they put me on hold over and over and then hang up. The only 2 times (out of 15 plus calls) I was able to speak to someone was a foreign call center who just kept telling me "You pay now". Cannot get hold of anyone who can correct their mistake and NO ONE EVER returns calls or messages. I think my credit is going to get screwed up now but I am not paying for anything other than what is stated in my contract.

Stephanie Januzys1Have received 3 letters stating that our vehicle has been paid off. It was paid off back in January. We still have not received a title 4 months later. Checked the DMV’s website and they still have a lien on our car. This was also after we found out all the fees were not paid to DMV when it came time to renew our tags. We received that bill in the mail with a hold on it. It had been a nightmare trying to get a title to something we paid a lot of money for and are supposed to have the title in our hand by this point. We have bought many vehicles and this has been the worst experience.

Yan Pa1These crooks at world omni want to add insult on top your loss. My 2018 toyota was totalled in Feburary and in march i got a settlement from my insurance company to help payoff the car but world omni wanted 2800+ more. I told them that they could make up the balance through GAP insurance and the rep told me that is what they will do. Few weeks past i found out they have reported me to credit bureau and resulted in 40+ point drop on my credit score. I have financed many vehicles in my life time but world omni is by far the worst of the worst. So don't deal with them because they don't give a damn about their consumers.

William1When I first bought the car at Al Hendrickson they financed in-house. I setup an online payment which was confirmed then went to Europe for 3 months for business. I came back to threatening letters and when I checked my credit score I had a late payment. WOFC tried to tell me I had not setup the payment which was inaccurate, their system is actually setup so that the 1st payment must be made manually then autopay kicks in, something they failed to mention on their payment platform. As a result my credit score dropped 30 points from an excellent standing. I called both Al Hendrickson and WOFC and they were not interested in helping to change the credit reports I filed saying it was my fault. Funny how 2-3 years later they are desperate for my business and want to sell me a newer car. They can F right off, do not touch these scum bags with a barge pole.

Mimi Hector1this company is horrible. I Ended up pregnant very sick and couldn't work and the car was repo within 2 months. forward to 3 years later I am trying to fix my credit and they have reported the account to The IRS. I mean okay cool, but the crazy thing is this company not only reported it to the IRS But on a monthly basis they are adding interest to the account and reporting to a outside collection agency. in search of a legal team to fix this crap. because something doesn't make any sense

Marlon Morales1SCAM STAY AWAY! From Toyota (Their financial Bank or Department are not good) I called their customer service about 6 times already, they do not know how to proceed, how to escalate the process, or how to take care of their customer. I even talk to a higher person her name Laury H "Customer service department" she was a very rude person and She did not care about it. The issues started on July 04, that I checked my account and the auto-pay service that they offer never activated. One car went thru with the auto-pay, the other one did not, because their system fail. (So now they do not want to take responsibilities). They contacted me for a few times offering me warranty extension, selling warranty etc, but they never sent me an alert via email, mail, or telephone letting me know that something wrong was going on with my autopay, they did not even care about that the autopay for my other cars was going thru, but not for the other one. So to continue with this-> I trust so much on their autopay system that I did not check it during that time. Until I decided to check to see how much own for the car, and I saw that May 20, June 20 payments were never made. I had about 852/852 on time payments on my credit report - This one late payment decrease my credit score by 58 points. I can consider that being a company for 35 years you should have a department that evaluated better each customer, especially loyal customer like me that since 2013 I have cars with you and 100% on time payments. After having this bad experience I won't be buying or recommending a Toyota Anymore. At least you guys should hear from your customer better because destroying someone credit is not fair enough when on your end a system that you guys offer as autopay worked for one car but not the other, be side that with all these new technology you guys dont take the moment to use it, like mail, text message, or email. You guys dont care about providing an exception for your failure. My next recommendation will be, never get a TOYOTA. First late payment on 2018 because your autopay never activated, I think you guys should provide a resolution of this problem, looking that one car was getting pay, but not the other, and you guys did not send any email, mail, text message or call. I hope you guys should offer from old responsible customer a Goodwill Adjustment to be able to provide an opportunity with something like this happened.

Scott Bean1I currently have a loan serviced through World Omni DBA Southeast Toyota Finance. I missed the first payment of my life on any loan because it took them 3 months to establish my auto payment. I did manual payments for the first two months and foolish me expected them to have their auto paymentns go into effect in that amount of time. Also, their auto payment feature won't let you pay more than the minimum (because they want to collect the maximum amount of interest) something I've never seen with any other loan company, which is flat out unethical in my opinion. I politely requested that SETF remove the missed payment from my credit report since I had a documented complaint with them about their inability to take my momey for 3 months. The customer service rep said they had an ethical responsibility to let the infraction remain. I'll make it my ethical responsibility to ensure with every other car I purchase in my life is financed with capital one who has always done a stellar job of taking my payments. It's clear this organization sees their customer as the dealerships selling their product and not those whose notes they hold. To heck with you.
