  Went there a couple of days ago to open an account....seemed okay until I found out if you close your account there is a FEE, I said if it is their fault do I still have to pay a fee....YES....I am so tired of banks charging a fee for everything they can think up, I had a check over $10,000 to deposit. The teller told me it would be at least 10 days until the money would be accessible....IT WAS A CASHIERS CHECK FROM HERITAGE SOUTH CREDIT UNION just down the street. I told the clerk there are too many banks in this area not to compete and I left...... BB&T called and got it verified same day and charge no fee if you close your account......

To clear up any confusion, we only charge a fee if a member closes their account within 90 days of opening their account. We apologize that we were unable to verify your check and release those funds for you on the same day.
