Bob Schaad is one of the best people I've ever worked with for mortgages! His support at Wilmington Savings Bank was top notch and did everything to get our loan processed in record time. They were fantastic!

I worked with WSB recently and their rates are very competitive. They are willing to work with each client to achieve what's best for them. Low fees are always a plus as well. Thanks for your dedication and customer service.

I did a home loan with Wilmington Savings Bank and it was an easy experience. Joe and Staci were awesome! They walked me through each step of the process. When problems arose with the builder, they were there to help! They even showed up at the job site! A great experience! However, when it came time with the loan there were lots of issues, first time they didn't take enough escrow out, I had to go give them $900 extra dollars for the taxes, then they readjusted the mortgage so it wouldn't happen again, oh I told them to stop taking the tax money out, didn't trust that to happen again. Then was changing the house insurance, and told them not to pay Allstate, that I would send them the new company, but guess who they ended up paying... yes Allstate. So stopped that, they couldn't pay the insurance anymore. But guess what, they still didn't seem to have enough escrow. Then talked about doing bi-weekly payments, their system wouldn't let the auto pay come out each month, but I could send it in bi-weekly and then they would fix it that way. Amazing, did that, and yet they still treated it as if I was paying once a month.... not saving me anything, even broke it down for them. Spent the time and ran the numbers and did the work for them. Could they handle that? No, they couldn't. I received an email that their system can't handle that either. So now I am going to refinance the home, and not use them. Too many mistakes, I shouldn't have to stay on top of them. Trust is broken. The process in the beginning was great.

Not a bank to do business with, they do not do the calculations of the loans correctly. They have an outdated system where they also cannot do bi-weekly payments. I have had so many issues with the bank.

This Bank is great! It's where I do most of my banking and have an auto loan through. Most banks don't care about you but this one helps you out when you really need it!

Not a bank to do loan business with. Poor knowledge and loan department is not responsive. I would not recommend. Agree with previous review. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
