  Walked in with $1200 to buy me a rifle. Stood there being stared at for almost an hour. STANDING IN THE SAME SPOT. I was probably gonna spend the most money in the store than anyone else. I was standing within a foot from the counter and nobody ever asked if I needed help. Instead decided to sell this older woman a sccy .380. Probably the worst firearm in their selection, and he sold her on the lie that it was very reliable and a great firearm. Another man walked in after I had been there 30 minutes and he was quickly attended to. I don’t like to say it’s a race thing, but being the only African American in the store I was never greeted upon entry, or asked a single question. Not saying it’s racism. Just saying maybe they thought I was there to goof off. I was going to spend AT LEAST $700 with them that day. Sad to say I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from a wild bills pawn shop after this experience. The worst part was there was only 3 customers in the store, including me!

  Please let me know what time you came in. We have reviewed video of all the SCCY pistols we have sold at and around the time you posted this comment and cannot seem to find the incident. The new SCCY pistols that we sell carry a lifetime warranty. Some people are not able to afford a higher end or higher priced item. We hope to provide whatever fits that certain persons budget with the best firearm we can provide. We have two team member's out of the seven working at that location that are African Americans so to even imply that it was because you are African American is not only wrong but insulting as well. We would be more than willing to sit down and watch video with you of the incident if you could more clarify when this happened, or even a more clear time frame when this happened.   A great place to be at home. You are responded to immediatly and they will go out of their way to help you with your need. Malcomb helped me with several gun purchases. I was overwhelmed with his knowledge and how explained the gun function that I purchased. I have been a client of Wild Bills since moving from Dallas a decade ago. Never have had an unpleasant experience. In fact even for a short social moment with one of the employees it is worth a stop. Wild Bills has several locations in Abilene a trophy establishment

  I had been a customer of Wild Bills for 20 years and bought many guns there. They sold me a new gun that ended up having a safety recall (not their fault). I had to send the gun back and was without it for 5 months and the factory ended up sending a free replacement gun to Wild Bills and all I had to do was go pick it up. Wild Bills charged me a transfer fee for picking up the replacement gun. I told them I thought they should wave the fee given the circumstances and they just basically laughed at me and made me pay it or I couldn't get the replacement gun. I even emailed corporate and never got a reply. So this is how they treat a 20 plus year customer? Well...Bye!

  I agree that you should not have been charged. I am sorry but I had to have overlooked your email or would have responded. Please call Cory at 325-692-7296 so we can get more details and get this unfortunate situation resolved so that this will never happen again. Thank you.   I initially liked this place in the beginning, but the experience with layaway was horrible. I was told different things about the layaway policy from different staff that were not listed on the receipt. When I came to the store questioning a particular staff he acted like he didn’t want to be bother and was very rude. End result... I tried to cancel the layaway and was told I lost $300 and get no refund or store credit.

  We do a 10% restock fee and any other portion that is paid goes to store credit if a layaway is voided. This is our policy as of now and has been our policy for many years. All of our employees know this and follow this policy. If what you are telling me happened to you then call Cory at 325-692-7296. We have no name in our system that you posted this review with.

  I just purchased a hand gun & being a 60 yo woman Cory took extra time helping me find the right gun for me. I was very pleased with how I was treated. Thanks Cory for making me feel secure in my purchase.

  First off employees are rude, second as i was being helped someone was purchasing a firearm and when the red haired man put it on the counter to ring it up he pointed the barrell straight at me, With a magazine in the gun. Teach your employees proper gun safety for christs sake. Will never be back

  Great staff. Very good selections of weapons. Friendly. Knowledgeable of all aspects of weaponry. Great prices. I have been trading here at #4 for at least fifteen years.

  I have done a lot of business with this particular pawn shop over the last few years. Out of all of the Wild Bill's, #4 has always been the most helpful and given me the best price for whatever I was pawning or looking to buy. The entire staff has been nothing but helpful, however I mainly did business with Alex. He was always been professional and courteous. I now live out of town however I would still definitely do business with them!!

  I always like visiting this place until it comes to staff....they really need to find some employees with personality. I feel like I just dealt with 3 walmart door greeters. For the record I did spend over $1000 in the store today...I can only imagine how great the service is when you're window shopping

  I love Wild Bill’s Pawn #4!! Their always so friendly and helpful there! I always find a wide variety of video games there for my son. Great store!! 😊 I prefer this location over all the others because they always have a good selection there, and the customer service is on point!
