  We went to the Eastern location. After filling everything out online, we went in to make the required deposit, expecting everything to go quickly. Well, we were not so lucky. We were asked everything that I filled out online. We were asked for 2 forms of ID and presented them. After a what seemed like an hour we were finished, given an ATM card to make our deposit. Then the next day I get a text asking if we can bring in our SS cards, which my wife does. When she is there they ask for her ID’s again because they didn’t make copies. Now I have to go back also to bring mine in. Not a good way to start a banking relationship. Hopefully it gets better.

  My experience with WestStar CU was very pleasant. Took only a short time to join. I was very pleased with the reception. Although I'm a new customer I would recommend there services.

  Awful Bank to do any kind of business with, hardly polite & communication on their end is just god awful . Would NOT recommend doing any kind of business with unless you like STRESS!!!

  I opened a checking and savings account with weststar today and it was a great experience! Very fast and Trevor was very knowledgeable about weststar and their products. Looking forward to banking with them!

  Manager of the Sunset branch location, Zachary Smith went out of his way to make sure everything was in place for me to open my account. He went above and beyond after I’d had so much trouble at a competing bank that I’d been a member of for 18 years and was never more than a number. Mr. Smith made sure I was taken care of. This has just confirmed I made the right choice to move my banking to West Star.

  WestStar CU is purely awesome! Every interaction reminds me why I continue to be a customer. They are personable, efficient and always professional. The small banking feel is alive and well. You never have to jump through hoops and layers as I used to with the larger banks. Keep it up WestStar!

  I leased vehicle twice at chase with good payment record after years of being with chase i decided to buy out the car guess what? i was declined lol fortunately WestStar was recommended by my co worker and tried to refi the car from chase i got approved with waaaay lower monthly payment I’m happy with WestStar i will definitely recommend it to friends and family for financing needs.
