WeStreet Credit Union Reviews

Matthew1One teller on a Friday! I’m a member of the credit union to get treated better than the banks, and you failed! Be aware, the staff and managers talk poorly about the customers through a chat application on their screens. My teller was saying disparaging things about me in a chat which the teller next to me was reading about. Then I got told to stare at the wall and not her screen. Wow! This isn’t communist Russia.

Their app is about useless & if you set up notifications don't trust that you'll be notified of anything other than deposits they seem larger than normal. Staff is rude & unhelpful, even going so far as to offer financial advice that would have bankrupted my family but would have gotten WeStreet multiple weekly "courtesy" fees. There are too many really good banks around Tulsa to bother with this so called credit union. I had more benefits & less fees/hassles with NetSpend.

Carrie Watters1TFCU is not to be trusted especially the mortgage/lending department. We have all of our insurance with OKFB. We had major water leak over the winter in our large 40 ft Gulf Stream Lodge. It was less than 2 years old. We filed a claim, and because we had the loan with TFCU they had to endorse the check. They refused to give us the check, one excuse after another. Work began, still would not give us the check. After contacting a manager, we finally received the check. We immediately paid them off.

Kyle Meyers5There was a mix up on my behalf my house insurance provider. Luckily Tracey was able to spot the problem quickly and was more than happy to help. I would recommend this bank to anyone for Mortgages and general day to day banking.

Phoebe Mattingly1When they became WeStreet, they treated my account like a new customer and decided to go ahead and process a hold on my check (didnt happen with TFCU because im not a new customer), so now I can't 1. Run errands I needed to run 2. pay my bills until Monday and they'll be considered late. Thanks WeStreet :) to say I'm mad is an understatement. No carryover plan at all.

Jean J2I have been a member of Tulsa Federal for 22 years. I like the bank itself, but I do not like the changes that have been made to the drivet hrough since We Street bank started. There's not a live teller inside the bank anymore on Saturdays. I went by to make a loan payment with my credit card, and you can't do that unless there's a teller inside. The bank is not better by an means, if anything it's now inconvenient!

Rowdy Bradford1My family has banked here for years. And very disappointed in this bank.I closed all accounts and moved. There fees and and over charges of scaming people. If there is any outher bad reviews im sure there true. This bank has took advantage of so many. If I were you look at fine print. Good luck finding a upstanding bank. Its not this one for sure. I wouldn't have gave it a star but didn't offer that.

Joseph Connor5Took my elderly mother in to get something notarized not realizing it was prime time on a Friday. Once inside we were greeted in the lobby by the manager. I stayed back while she took my mother to her office and helped her. I watched and listened as all the employees helped each person one after another on this busy day. They all had smiles on their faces and didn't let the busy day phase them. My mother also had nothing but great things to say about Jennifer's hospitality and helpfulness as well. Kudos, Tulsa Federal!
Response from the ownerThank you, Joseph! Our staff strives to provide the best customer service possible. We look forward to seeing you again.

Jace Goodwin1Great Customer Service, however, the online banking is a joke. Continuously have to call to ask TFCU to pull funds from my account with them just to make my monthly vehicle payments(add a $20 convenience fee for an over-the-phone payment.) Fees are outrageous every month that I am “late” on my payments, credit score continues to be “dinged” EVERY SINGLE MONTH. Even though their rates are competitive, I highly suggest using another lender. Fees/trouble you’ll have with this company are NOT worth the competitive rates they offer.
