Ry Guy921They won’t let you know if your account goes negative. They’ll just keep charging you every day until you figure it out. There is no sense in urgency on their behalf in solving transaction disputes. Their customer service is poor. I’ve been there 25 years and am not treated like it.

Craig Bowie5David Hilburn helped us with a refinancing our our Mortgage. David did not simply answer the question we asked but made considered and thoughtful recommendations. Not only were we able to get a much lower interest rate, we were able to accomplish some financial goals we were not expecting. Clearly David cares about the customer.

Allan Riley1Just moved to the area and they approved me for an auto refinance no problem. Then it was time to open a checking account. IMPOSSIBLE. Went in to the bank personally with my 6 month year old daughter. After 2 hours of waiting in line and an additional hour being "helped" I was denied since they can not verify my address in their system. A government issued COLORADO driver license and a rental contract with my landlords phone number on the contract does not suffice? It's such a shame they have decent rates. They can't help me get a checking account, someone who has perfect banking history and a perfect credit? Crying out loud I have 9 houses and you cant create for me a simple checking account. How are they going to help when other issues arise? There problem solving skills are non existent. Thanks for wasting my time, I will gladly give my money to another institution that is more professional. I decided to go with acfcu for a 1.79% apr on a 55k pickup for a 7 year loan.

Carolyn Porter5I absolutely love Credit Unions and Westerra does not disappoint. They are full service. I have financed an auto loan and mortgage through them. I have refinanced both as well. Their tellers are always smiling and happy to help when I go into the lobby. I mostly use their online banking and the interface is easy to use.

Chad Anderson5I've always had a good experience with Westerra. It's nice using a credit union who isn't charging fees for every little thing to maximize their profit. I like that there is no overdraft unless you opt-in. I like having a local credit union since I tried online banking in the past and it was a pain. The tellers and other representatives have always been helpful.

T Lovely1Stay away from this bank, beware of lies and confusion. They’re very disrespectful and argue and belittle with ever chance. I literally called and spoke with Leslie, who was extremely lazy over the phone and didn’t want to work me at all. I stopped banking here and recall multiple situations because of Leslie! When I let this person know I felt like she was being rude, as she spoke over me and no she wasn’t. The Manager here at this location isn’t any better either. Seriously run run run and never use this bank!

Cadence Fortenberry1if I could give no stars i would. this place has cause me more grief than any credit union I've ever worked with. first problem was one of there workers. this lady named Tony, is incapable of putting money in the correct account TWICE SHE PUT MY MONEY IN SOMEONE ELSE'S ACCOUNT!!! TWICE!!! Then i tried to make a car payment. and same thing they put my payment in someone else's account. I had $70 charge to my account that I hadn't made. they refuse to pay me back because they said my card had to have been there. I know where i was on that day and it sure as hell wasn't at the Denver art museum or anywhere near there. when i asked them what i needed to do to prove it. they simply said they need more information. what kind of info you ask? i don't know THEY WON'T TELL ME. they said it's impossible for the "chip" in our new cards to be duplicated. yet here i am. out $70 and not sure when the next time i will eat will be. Do they care? no of course not. they don't care about their customers. And their systems are obviously not as safe as they claim. they don't even want to try to work with me. So do yourself a favor. there are so many other credit unions to choose from. don't choose this one.

Jt Turner1These guys are a joke. Here's some of advice, if you ever have a despuite with a charge, no matter what it is just tell them it was a "fraudulent charge" if you bank here. Otherwise they won't ivestivagte anything on your behalf and will just side with the merchant and you won't get your money back. Situation happened with me where a bar charge my card after I already paid cash. They were absolutely no help and didn't look into anything on my behalf and when I went to the branch in person to resolve the issue I was told by the rep that the investigation team "cheery picks" the dispuites and only works the easy ones. Apparently my case was a little too difficult for them to handle so they sided with the merchant. I was told if I would have said my charge was "fraudulent" then they would have just returned me my money no questions asked. So keep that in mind if you bank here. If you don't bank there don't waste your time. Their lack of expirence, tranning and work ethic does not match what a credit union should be and you don't want people like that handling your money. I closed my account immediately and went else where.
