  We recently worked with Joy at West Coast Realty. She was top-notch!! Joy took the time to learn what type of home we were looking for. Through the process, she connected us with very reliable businesses such as bankers, inspectors and maintenance personnel. She kept our spirits up in this crazy market. We had put six offers on six different homes until LUCKY 7 was found.   My husband and I recently purchased a property from West Coast realty . Our agent was so helpful in showing us around, discussing all that is available, spending time putting all the information together on properties in the area. Our property is mid range, in price so one would not expect the royal treatment such as we received. We were located out of town at the time of purchase , our agent orchestrated the entire procedure including taking personal time to allow contractors into the property for estimates and improvement procedures. Having been in the mortgage lending business, I am familiar with many agents and the way the treat their clients however I must say our agent from West Coast Realty of Venice went out of their way to make our buying experience pleasant .   Working with Pino and Kim was hands down the Best Realtor experience I have had in selling my home. I have moved several times and sold several properties over the years and selling a home is never easy but I am so thankful I decided to work with Pino and Kim in selling my home here in Venice. They were open, honest, professional and patient with me throughout the entire process! Given they have been in the Venice area for over 30 years, they are experts in this area. They were quick to respond to any and all questions I had throughout the process.   My husband and I can’t say enough good things about Kim & Pino! We decided to buy down here (we live in Ohio) in a time when it’s a SELLERS, fast moving market and were very specific in an area and home type (in-law suite). They helped us every step of the way staying in constant communication and keeping us up to speed DAILY! The things that can be done online with contracts and closing is truly a transplants dream. They are experienced, kind and proactive beyond belief. Look no further if you’re local or in another state!

  I normally dont write reviews but was extremely unhappy with how this group operates. My neighbors house was for sell and I made an offer that was 15k above asking price all cash offer because I wanted to move my mom down. I was shocked when I didn't win. I talked to the sellers before they moved their things out and was SHOCKED that they informed me that they never saw our offer. The Winner was List price offer with financing. I was double shocked when I learned that the Selling Agent supposedly had both the Seller and the Buyer. This is very unprofessional and illegal! I just don't understand how these realtors get away with it. If you are selling your house DO NOT use this group you wont get the best offers if the agents have a buyer too.

  So sorry to learn you were outbid with your Offer through West Coast Realty of Venice. We are in a strong seller's market here in Venice and many buyers are not getting their offers accepted due to multiple offers presented to the sellers. All offers are presented to sellers in the order in which they are received. The agent presented every single offer that was submitted in a timely fashion. Our office follows the strict guidelines of the FREC and DBPR at all times. And it is not "illegal" to represent both parties in a transaction. The correct term is "Transaction Broker" and the definition is as follows: A transaction broker provides a limited form of representation to a buyer, a seller, or both in a real estate transaction but does not represent either in a fiduciary capacity or as a single agent. We've spoken to the listing agent who in turn reached out to the seller to verify your statement. The seller reports that she does not know a "Frank Shipley", nor has she discussed the details of her transaction with any of the neighbors in the area. She also reports that she would never discuss or disclose the financial details of this transaction to anyone who is not directly a party to the transaction. In this particular case, the seller is horrified to learn that these things were said about one of our agents, and our company, in relation to one of her transactions, of which there have been several with us over the years.   This agency is shady. Buy law contract terms such as escalation clauses are the right of the seller and should be disclosed. This Broker makes up her own rules to benefit herself. Not only is this bad for the Buyers it it TERRIBLE for the Sellers. They get less for their properties then what they could have just so she can profit. Sellers DO NOT list your property here because you will not benefit from the offers presented.
