  Sterling/ Webster are the worst possible banks you can have. Online banking is an absolute nightmare. Moving my money to a more dependable bank this week.

  I've gone here a couple of times to get change for my business that is on the same block as them and had no problems. I came in a week later to get change and the women behind the counter denies saying I have to have an account in order to get CHANGE from a BANK. I was able to leave with at least 40 dollars worth of change but, if you are going to exchange currency, do not come here.

  This bank always calls me by my 1st name and are always courteous. They follow strict financial guidelines and laws. $$$ is always available and drive up is convenient. 40 year customer.

  I have been Banking at this Branch since I've Lived in East Islip for almost 30 years. From Long Island Savings Bank, to Astoria Federal Savings Bank, to now Sterling National Bank. I had issues that were always resolved in a professional & timely matter. It's nice too see a freindly staff, & where everyone knows your name. Banking at its Best !!

  To All reading This post I am withdrawing my money from this bank that handed me a counterfeit $50.00 bill . When I returned to let them know about this incident they said I should have checked it before I left the branch . I withdrew $900 dollars that day from this branch . Instead of making things right they double down and make it your fault . Everyone beware of Sterling Bank as they don't even try to make this right with their customer . I will be closing 3 of my accounts this weekend . Please beware and bank somewhere else . Not worth the trouble !!!

  Been with them for years even back when they were Astoria, the negative reviews should be ignored. Amazing staff, great service. Never had a single issue here with them. Highly recommend this bank.

  If I could leave zero stars I would! Unbelievably ridiculous that a bank will not honor their own checks for non customers over a certain dollar amount! This is insane! Be wary of a financial institution that will not honor their customers checks!

  NEVER pick up the phone..they are merging with another company, they should clean house and get all new people. Worst customer service I have ever had

  These people at this bank are crooks they should be arrested at the Way they conduct business I highly recommend that whoever is thinking of banking here doesn’t please I promise you you will have nothing but problems
