  Troy Lepisto help us with both our home purchase and now the refinancing of our home and handled both with great care. My husband and I both have busy work schedules, he was great at reaching out to us always keeping us in the loop of where we stood in the process. Troy made our experience less stressful we appreciate how quickly he responded to any questions we had. We will keep using Waterstone Morgage in the future and recommend Troy!

  I have never experienced this type of inept or incompetent work. Sandra was a nightmare..asking for information early on but not checking till the week before...closing was rescheduled several times and the only reason it closed was because of our realtor who had to do Sandra's work for her. Oh, I forgot...she applied for a loan that didn't do investment property so the week before closing my rate went up 3 points more than she quoted. bottom line is she has a pretty face but not much else going on. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

  Honestly, this was our first mortgage. It was very confusing and felt a bit like a nightmare. It’s not so much what is being asked for of you, but In the way it’s said to you (rudely) and the inconsistency of the process. One day your being asked for something and the next day it’s not even in question. I did get approved luckily and they got me into the home I wanted, however the lack of organization made this very difficult. I felt at times a bit harassed and accused of sketchy business. I am great full for getting us into our new home with a good rate. But to new home buyers like we were it was a very stressful and confusing process.

  BernaDette is the best! I can't stress it enough on how amazing she is. She is very professional and knows what she is doing. Buying a home is a process and stressful, but working with her made things go gently.

  So happy to have found Sandra. When other lenders couldn't get a recent deal done, she stepped in at the last minute and not only saved the deal but closed it within two weeks, absolutely unheard of!

  We were told that Academy Mortgage keeps the traditional mortgages and does not sell them off. I'm pretty sure they had it sold off before the ink was dry on the closing documents! Sure, they were fine to secure a mortgage but they are not as transparent as they claim to be. If I would have known that they would sell off my mortgage right away then I probably would have gone a different route. I don't recommend them.
