  Great bank and well to be honest the easiest to work with. Once the pandemic hit pretty much all banks we reached out to were slammed or unresponsive. Asim Mahmood was kind and very helpful. He reviewed all the docs quickly and worked late even to explain the process and get all our docs submitted in time. For a small business owner this is a very stressful and overwhelming time and he guided and helped us out quickly and patiently, couldn't ask for better service.

  Great bank to work with! Super-fast, super convenient. From management to the tellers everyone is very helpful and considerate. I appreciate that they walk you through what you don’t understand and help you through the whole process. Remote deposit scanner is a life saver. I would recommend this bank to anyone seeking to grow their business without all the banking headache.

  My husband and I own a small business and Wallis was nothing but wonderful as we navigated securing the PPP loan. We worked very closely with Asim & Betty and the attention to detail, the level of care and expertise was more than we could have ever asked for.   This bank should write the book "How to give real service to Clients" Their personalized customer service, attention to details and quality products are all outstanding. Surely, you have experienced the service from other banks, but I would highly recommend for anyone to come and evaluate their service and feel the difference. These people are highly skilled, professionals and offer service which is second to none. In a city like Los Angeles, they provide free parking with an easy in and out which is a Big Plus !

  Unfortunately I had a really bad experience with Wallis bank for my PPP loan. I applied April 3rd 2020. One of the first ones. I worked with Asim Mahmood loan officer. He is horrible and has no idea how to properly process a PPP loan for an independent contractor. I was drug around and given B.S. answers. I had to tell him how to process the loan for an independent contractor with an S corp given all the research I had done. I Got Asim all docs he requested and everything was processing... so I thought. Then delays started, which I understood given the pandemic. I was patient, but also I applied with another bank to be safe. The other bank - "Bluevine" knew what they were doing and had a much more streamlined process. I let Asim know I wanted to cancel my loan with Wallis. He said ok... but then called me a few days later and said he got me approved for the amount I applied for... $30,000+/-. He gave me my SBA loan number. Weeks later and after I had stopped the processing with the other bank, Asim came back and said I could only get approved for $5,000. I almost lost my mind because of the time I wasted. He and the processors at Wallis Bank had no idea what they were doing and were way too overwhelmed. They should have been honest upfront. I had to explain it to them multiple times and show them how to process loans for PPP (Independent contractor with S corp). They said I was wrong. I told them they had no idea what they were doing and to "go pound sand." Sorry... but I can't stand incompetence. So after nearly 1.5 months of messing around with Wallis Bank and Asim Mahmood and given B.S. info, I re-opened my loan with Bluevine. Within a couple weeks, I had full approval for the loan amount of $22,500... which is the correct amount based on my 1040 and 940/941 forms combined as an independent contractor with an S corp. I have been fully funded. In addition Bluevine helped me apply for EIDL loan and get approved for another $89,000. So I say to Asim and Wallis Bank... you guys are horrible and should not do loans anymore. Bad, bad, bad, bad, Bank. People should think twice before working with this bank... systems and operations are way behind the times... This is my experience and I can back it up with emails, phone calls and text messages. Wallis Bank and Asim Mahmood are horrible.

  Great Service. Specially Asim was great. He helped my company during a time of need and made the complicated PPP documentation process seamless. Extremely professional and efficient. Amazing customer service and follow through. It was really nice working with them.

  Wallis Bank helped process our company PPP Loan. They worked with us on 3 different company loans. Very responsive and acted quickly so we can get the loan approval. In the end, we were successfully funded for 1 of the 3 loans. The other 2 were for other reasons as they went through with the previous applied applications. Asim Mahmood worked very quickly and efficiently to make sure that all the paperworks gets submitted right away so we receive the funding as soon as possible. He gave us a list of items needed. And then some signature pages. Within a day or two we were able to get all the items requested completed and the loan information all processed. Within two weeks we received funding. Thank you for helping us process the applications ! We really appreciate all the prompt help received!

He worked tirelessly, including evenings and weekends, to ensure that we were well positioned to get our loan in a timely fashion.   Wallis Bank has been a great place to bank for my small business. I first found out about the bank as I was looking to apply for a PPP loan when the program first came out. Asim worked around the clock and got my PPP loan approved when all the big banks were not processing any loans for small businesses. Betty helped set up my account and they have been so great that I canceled my account at Wells Fargo. Everyone at the branch knows me personally and the customer service is excellent.
