ABB Dexx1Have had account there for over 10 years. My son turned 16 and we opened him up an account. His account received fraud and he had to order a new card. I noticed on his account that he had been charged a 10.00 fee for the new card. I called the Portland Branch and asked why he had been charged the 10.00 fee, the teller mentioned that he was an liability. I have never heard such a poor choice of words from a customer service representative. I spoke with the manager and he acted as if it wasn’t a big deal that it bothered me that the representative had chosen such poor words or that I would close all accounts. I would never mention to any of my customers that it was a liability or make the customer feel that they were a liability. Bad business!

The bank staff acted very quickly and solved the problem so there was no delay in important purchases I was making! Thank you very much!

Johnny Gomer3I have been a member here 3 decades. Had a couple of loans with everything always paid. Asked for a business line of credit , with my home and property paid for , to stand good for it. I have $ in this bank. Waited 2 weeks , never was contacted , had to finally go up there just to get turned down! Got a 7-800000 dollar home and property and asked for a$200000 promise if needed. What a joke of a bank!!!

Keaston Devitt2When the system is actually up, the service is fine; however, almost every single night the system goes down for a little while which makes it to where you can't make any transactions. You can't even check your account balance through an ATM or even with the automated system you can call. When you call, you just get a message saying "Sorry, the system is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." It has been like this for over a year. I have emailed them to ask why it does this, but of course I have yet to get a response. So they are obviously not very interested in helping their customers. The whole situation is very frustrating. I also have an account with Farmers Bank, and even though I have had similar situations (not even close to as often, though), they are at least willing to answer my questions and explain what the situation is.
Response from the ownerKeaston: We're terribly sorry that you've had this experience with our online banking. We are looking into our system to see what issues there might be and we appreciate your alerting us about the possibility of them. It also looks like we've not done our best responding and for that I apologize. Please feel free to reach out to our Portland office directly at 615.325.9257 if you have any questions or additional concerns. Thank you.

Julio Domingo1They have a phone number on the web site to call and it goes straight to a voice recording and then you have to leave a message at 2:31 pm on a weekday!!!! I want to talk to someone and just ask a simple question, I guess I will call Farmers Bank and see if they have a recorded message, if not I will probably move my money. Just Sad
Response from the ownerFirst, thank you for your feedback. We’re so sorry that we didn’t get to the phone in time. It’s our goal to answer each call in person so that we can serve our customers better. We obviously didn’t make that happen today so we apologize. I hope you’ll give us another chance to make it right.
