  Took in the diamond ring with appraisal it appraised at $2000 in 1995. The lady behind the counter never asked for my appraisal. Far as I know she never tested the ring or diamonds. They offered just over a 100. I knew going in I wouldn't get much. %5 way too low. Her customer service skills were nonexistent. Won't go back.

  Was very impressed with the quality of of their store, staff, and their business practices. It was the first time that I had been in the store and it was very secure. I traded in some silver and prior to going in, I decided that I needed a specific amount of money, based on what I had and the spot price for silver that day. When they totaled up the coins and bullion, they were within pennies. I normally use a broker from NYC I've known for decades, but now I'm going to Visalia Jewelry & Loan.

  It's an extremely great place to buy or sell always the highest prices. Always a clean atmosphere and a friendly and outgoing staff that always tries to give the customer a very good experience. Thank you for always being there for me.

  The place is clean and the prices are sort of competitive. My biggest complaint is their buy/sell system. If you want to purchase silver they tack on a $6 per ounce/coin which is a nearly 41% premium. Yet if you sell them bullion you'll hardly get spot price. From an investment stand point it just does not pencil out. It would be like a stock broker charging you a 41% premium to invest in a company and when you go to sell it, only getting paid 97% or so of the stocks value. The only reason I buy bullion from them is because the prices are marginally better than online sellers. But that's just how the bullion world works.

  This store is nice place and the people are too... They are fair when buying your gold , silver and other items .. but remember they are in business to make money so do not expect to get ever last cent your item might bring when selling to another consumer....
