  I have had a few issues with them with over drafting. I had a transaction pending since the amount requested was not set in stone until the rental of a uhaul would be finalized after I return the truck. Because of this I was careful on my gas transactions and what I needed. Well they decided to pull out the gas along with another transaction even though the available balance was still in the positive. They said well b/c your Uhaul transaction was taken out first but it was still in a pending status therefore it hasnt been taken out yet. this caused two over draft transactions. later Uhaul took out the funds and imagine that it was LESS than what was pending which would have never put me in the negative if they wouldnt have jumped the gun. They have been crooks when it comes to over drafting. They say its REAL TIME but it really isnt if there is a pending status. Again this is not the first time i have had this issue with them. Thankfully they reversed it only because I called to complain. But if you are the type who doesnt complain then they would take advantage of you real fast. I feel like this is an issue that should be a part of a lawsuit Kind of like the one US Bank was pulling with their customer.

  I had no issues with Veridian until last week. I love how easy mobile banking is, and how easy it was to manage my accounts. Last Wednesday my account showed two pending charges in Hong Kong. They are fraud charges and I filed the dispute. My account is no negative and they won’t credit my account the funds that I had. I opened a new checking just to let my payroll go through. I was told my account would show “temporary” credit by Friday. It’s Monday and I’m still without credit. I’ve been told it would take a few days, up to two weeks, 4 weeks at most, now 3 months. This is unfair. I’ve been a member with them for years! I just want my money back. I don’t understand why Veridian is handing this so bad. The charges are obviously not me.

  The associate that assisted my friend and could not have been any better! He was friendly, pleasant to work with and he was extremely knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend this Veridian Credit Union.

  Really not sure what all the negatives are about, only one seemed honest as to a situation they couldn't control. Great place that I've been using for well over a decade. Person whom said you can't build good credit, 2.5 years ago I had a credit score of 0. Within that time it's now up to 765. As for the people complaining about overdrafting and charges, it's not their fault you aren't conducting your account and managing funds properly, just because you don't have the funds DOES NOT mean you simply don't need to pay YOUR bills and loans, that should be obvious. If it does deal with a loan it's your job to reach out to whom you're paying to and talk go them to see what you can do, they're arn't simply going to go wow, they don't have the money to pay on the loan that they've signed a contract and agreed to, let's just not charge them this month. Everyone else is conducting their account properly and you should too. Sorry for the rant but this kind of negligence for oneself only to blame others is a bit infuriating. Great people, will work with you, despite the one guy it's a good of a place as any to build credit, as credit building has VERY LITTLE to do with where you bank.

  I have never had a bad experience with Veridian Credit Union. I’ve been a member since the late 90’s, and they have always done everything they can to assist me. I hope people aren’t basing their opinions on one time one day experience. They are a great company and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

  If you want to steal your money and apply it to a late loan, not knowing weather or not you have other bills to come through than this is the bank for you! Had a loan and having some trouble with payment but only had 145 left fso they took it! My insurance is due and was supposed to be paid out of the money they STOLED! So now account will be overdrawn and need insurance for loan! Ig they can have this car! DONE WITH VERIDIAN
